These modern paintings and contemporary 'music' are basically doing a huge disservice to the real art forms that was left by our ancestors. Traditional oil paintings and music were created by pure geniuses that produced upright works like Mozart, Beethoven, etc, and require musicians that have been under years of disciplined training to hone the techniques, and the works and perofmrances help to inspire people's best side, the kind side of mankind ,
How about try to record all the decent works of our predecessors and upload them on youtube for students and future reference as opposed to these contemporary nonsese? He hasn't done that and yet he should.
whereas all these contemporary junks basically seem to come somewhere out of hell without exception. Even though CL's trombone playing is superb and wants to help to promote trombone and classical music to a wider audience, I am strongly against him doing these contemporary stuff. Even though he thinks the trombone works are limited, you still shouldn't try to deviate from what allow classical music to have survived for this long.
