We are amateur astronomers from Ireland and we bring a small speaker into the black dark mountains and play all 3 of these albums all night as we look deep into the centre of the galaxy with our equipment. This music is truly made for this. It really helps you to launch out into the galactic plane. When a track like Seraphim 2 is playing and you are oberving the Orion nebula up close, its an almost spiritual and transcending moment of which little can be conveyed in words.
I smelled some peppermint extract making some spelt flakes while listening to this and got brought back to one of the very few christmas times i had with my Dad as a kid. It was nice.
Chimere is my current favorite track on this album. Very emotionally moving in a sentimental, nostalgic kind of way. It helps me mourn my dog who passed, sweet soul that he was. Rest in peace, my dear Ludvig.

" “Degrading a sample” in my mind is doing something destructive to a sound that has already been recorded, generally while you are playing it back. For this project, I use Ableton’s Simpler to cut the speed of a sample in half repeatedly until it’s as stretched out as it can be. From this point I often clip the sample at a point that sounds like a nice droning oscillator or a pad or just a glitchy texture. Sometimes I will just mangle a longer sample and let it do it’s thing while I manipulate it’s pitch and texture and drench it in effects, and then add other elements over it after the fact. Sooooo apparently that wasn’t the band I was hearing in “hala”, but rather an entity disguising itself within this music to speak to me in a seriously creepy language just underneath the music.... because it definitely isn’t there now. I tried to go back and screen record, nothing but drone music... Didn’t feel right, but I played it off as being paranoid. Always go with your instincts, shoulda noticed sooner...
That being said, I still like this; listening to it again, but I just wanted to warn people about the dangers of trance states... You must guard yourself properly, else you may become prey.

If you simply don’t allow whatever it is to affect you, even wishing well to your ill wishers, then you can negate that negative energy. You can even bring the strength of their negativity down a lil. Sounds crazy, and most people will never even notice. Know how things put you in a bad mood, and it can just keep getting worse, one thought after another? Try cutting off negative thought loops sometime, your thoughts are not you. They are merely observations made by the accumulation of your experience. Choose your thoughts, be mindful of your mind... and of course trust your gut(subconscious knowledge) feelings. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t try to rationalize; try to observe, and figure out what you are trying to rationalize away.
