I'm a big fan of Karl and the Kountry Dutchmen ever since my brother, S.L. of WTKM Radio in Hartford, Wisconsin introduced us. It is Great to see Karl and the gang on RUclips. Please post more ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Charlie Lopas, Tuba Player, Bass Guitarist, Sioux Falls, South Dakota (originally from Hartford, WI)
Tony plays up bom bom bom on the it's a third-part it might be a 22-4 at wrong and it isn't real but it's really nice and it was trumpets are great Donnie burkard 73 years professional musician started at 13 the buses would pick the boys are at school and bring them back sometime sometimes they were late for school the next morning if they went into Nebraska
Good music! I saw you years ago in Rosenberg, TX. Told you my dad is from a farm between Galesville and Centerville. He's 92 now and pretty deep into Alzheimer's. If you know where Schubert Road is, my grandmother was a Schubert. Her funeral was the day the Challenger exploded. I have my own polka band now.
In case you're wondering, no, it doesn't get better than this! Karl is THE GRAND MASTER! And the band on this video has all his best players. Top notch. Thanks for posting this.
The older gentleman is Donnie Burkhardt 70 + years professional musician he just recently passed away interesting thing is to watch him at the end of a phrase and he turns his trumpet away from the mic cuz he's going to use a little more volume to get the high note so he takes it away from the microphone
I have never seen that the third trumpet player you certainly plays knife has a good tone the reason Donnie burkhart's but the older gentleman is playing the first part the melody is he has such a distinctive and bigsound he's like several of the trumpet players around here there's sound like two or three trumpets playing in unison like the idea of a choir
