Scrapman, i gotten say your editor is by far the best editor i have ever seen on youtube, he does very accurate equations and real time overlays with just the footage, and it really adds a lot to the video and your channel. From creating graphs about acceleration that made it into the game as a core feature to adding g-force calculations to trial makers and screwdrivers videos, he is the best.
*Video idea:* Remember when you made "the floor is lava" car? Try doing it with a plane, where you need to get low to the ground or else you explode. It would be more fun if it was in a dogfight. _Extra difficulty (optional):_ you can do it in a map that has many obsticles like mountains and trees (like the Airborne map, Danger zone, treasure island)

@@Berbaros6996 Up there with the great editors on youtube. I thought this is another way to say that someone is really good but that might be wrong since I'm not a native speaker.
Your editor has been knocking it out the park lately, so many nerdy stats like g-force calculation in this video, i love it haha, and the merch graphic lookin great too
Key thing to know about the graphs, they show torque output, but acceleration is a result of torque, the wheel radius and the weight of the vehicle. I kind of wish it would show actual acceleration numbers.
1:25 fun fact, this is basically how overdrive on a regular car odes, or at least can work, a transmission with however many gears, tied into what is basically a 2 speed transmission. Though, it is more common to just operate the 2 speed as one more, higher gear, as so much shifting in the relatively low speeds cars operate at can become a PITA.
THE GRAPH - the graph tells you a lot about how your car is gonna react to throttle. The x-axis tells you speed and the y-axis tells you newton meters of force. In other words the y-axis is your acceleration. The reason slow and fast vehicles can have the same graph but different behaviors is because the y- axis is stretched differently. A vehicle with slow acceleration is probably around 200nm of force and a burnout type acceleration is around 1000nm of force.
I mean for both the fast vehicles you basically matched the stated time, 1:24 (so actually a second faster that stated), and 100 second (ie 1:40, which is exactly what you got)
Tbh, the 1:24 isn't quite accurate. He got a bit of a flying start and steered quite a bit. Realistically it probably was more like a 1:30. I got the 1:25 going from one end of the map to the other, doing minimal steering.
@@TheRealCatBurger23 Ohh xD, sorry I don't remember all the names that was presented in the video (also don't think he really did a whole lot out of saying who made which)
I submitted a supersonic vehicle but I didn't use the term "super sonic". I got 1440 km per hour with it, also I submitted two more vehicles, a very fast one that breaks the game with propellers and a quadcopter. Love to see you try any of them.
Looks like I need to share my hypersonic vehicle once I finish getting all the fixes done. Currently, it needs less than the distance from the center of the map to teleport to reach the sound barrier, and the highest speed recorded is just over 3,400 km/h. I think he would fit in here as a candidate. The biggest problem with it is that at these speeds, just entering from a flat map onto the asphalt can generate such an impact that the car is torn to pieces, so it took me about 16 attempts to reach the maximum speed.
I actually have my doubts about that last one. While aerodynamic is weird/not very obvious in this game, that last one seemed very bad. I feel like it was a case of of the creator just adding more planetgears untill they graph said it would be super sonic, not actually testing it, but with the front be quite the wall-ish I wouldn't be surprised if the actual top speed is below super sonic
Top speed isn't reported correctly beyond a certain speed/gear ratio. I actually got a build to 2700+Km/h, best trap was 2630ish. I really wish the devs would fix the alignment after teleport. Ps. should stress I did not use any physics glitches.
Scrap - take a look at the scale in y axis and the values of Nm, this graphs can be misleading when You assume that the scale is constant between creations.
While the speeds are somewhat impressive, the true mastery is that they actually managed a stable bike form. Mine wobble and start breakdancing aussie olympic style just through acceleration...
wouldnt you be able to drive out past the city, and then turn 90 degrees and drive perpendicular to the road, that way you dont need to try to thread the needle through everything, rather it would just pass way off to the side of you
You can do that and it is what I do if I don’t want to use the speed camera. The map tends to teleport you to the opposite side of the map from the centre so you just have to go a certain distance and the city won’t be a problem.
yeah i noticed that after some 600kmh or even 500 its just a estimation. it doesnt take into account the aerodynamics. it will show you 1400kph but all you will get is 700 with over 60-80 wind resistance. i got to supersonic with 280hp and couldn't get with 1000hp with just 75 air resistance. 1000hp 74 wr went 780kmh and 280hp with 45wr went 1278kmh. The wheels also ar bugged. with the big wheel i get 2000kmh and get to 780kmh with the small rubber wheels i get 760kmh and go 1278kmh so idk
