This lil vac is a game changer for me!!! I have CHF and Arthritis so it's difficult to do your everyday cleaning stuff with the regular bulky vacs. This little thing has some kick but suction. better than most of the other more expensive generic hoovers and bissels and so on. It's lite so it doesn't kill my back to pick it up and move it. It cleans better than any of them. The filter is easy to clean and replace. It gets warm by the motor but that is the least of my concerns!! I may get another just to have one in the other room. This little vac has beyond impressed me.
I am beyond impressed as well! I wish they sold a hose attachment separately, let's say for $5, or $10. But it's an awesome hard floor vacuum. I got 2, 1 in California, and 1 in Florida. I bought it because I need to clean the Florida house and put it up for sale. So now I got 2 of these! ;p
I live in Phoenix Arizona and so it's continually Dusty and I need to vacuum everyday and I like the fact that this has a HEPA... It really does have that strong of section but most importantly it doesn't go back out in the air so we're breathing it in.
Nice review. I have a cheap Bissell, as did my son. His has died already, so I'm guessing mine may fairly soon. When my apartment gets built in the basement, I'll have a concrete floor, so this might work, although I'm not crazy about that filter. Was it fairly easy to brush clean?
You should have had someone else hold the camera. You should have put a towel not your hand on the bottom to check the suction. I really wanted a good review on this; thinking of buying it. This was no help.
The towel test isn't really the best, as some towels are very easy to pick up, but a big fluffy one not so much. I have a vacuum collection, I have cheap things like this, to expensive Kirby's, and this Ionvac is great, I think I said in the video, didn't I? It doesn't clog nearly as easy as it's competitors, like the Bissel 3 in 1 stick vacuum. About the camera, you are right, it is quite shaky. I didn't notice it being that bad though, just getting up close. When I was looking to buy this vacuum, I couldn't find any good reviews, so I tried to make an actual good video testing it. After the video I tested it out in a house we have in Florida, (I bought another one), and it worked great. It struggles with large rocks and chunks of drywall, like quarter sized ball of rock, but that's to be expected.

The filter is relatively easy to clean. But I find even if it's slightly clogged it actually still sucks good.
