I have done 70 + jumps at Gravity Bowl, with 3 nasty wipe outs under my belt. It took me 4 visits to the park before i worked up my nerve to jump the gravity bowl, its much steeper than it looks on video, But now its a breeze to me . So nice living 5 minutes away from Watershed Park, its like a mountain bike Disneyland.
Gravity bowls lip has been re built recently…. Did not know until I was straight up in the air higher then I’ve ever been. Gave me a confidence boost landing it 😂😂. Same with me, multiple visits before I went down.
Thanks. It felt good that day. Some days, not so much. I've scared myself pretty good on that one before, but overall I think it is fairly user friendly for a jump it's size. Truth be told I find the step down at the end of Jack's Trail to be scarier.
Thank you. Where are you at with that? Have you dropped into the Gravity Bowl but are having trouble committing to the jump? Or are you having trouble committing to the drop in?
@@therealridedmc the problem is dropping in even though I know that’s just fear but my friend did and he started fishtailing and never finished the bowl, ever since then it made it more scary 😂😂😂
@@Capta1n.K even though I’ve ridden it dozens if not hundreds of times I’m always a bit nervous dropping in. It takes me 3 or 4 runs to finally stop tapping my brake and hitting the jump at full speed. My advice to drop in is to get comfortable doing it as slow as possible. Don’t even worry about the jump. Just get comfortable riding down it. Start slow and as you get comfortable and use less brake you can think about the jump. It’s always gonna be there. Take you time.
Thanks! Here’s a link to Trailforks. If you park near Pinewood elementary and enter there, the first trail I ride (Goats) starts right there. It kind of leads into Return of the Shedi. From there it’s a short climb north towards 64 Ave where Shedline starts. Delta Watershed on Trailforks www.trailforks.com/region/delta-watershed

Great air on your Gravity Bowl run. I once hit it waaay too fast.... Was off the seat and hanging on for dear life. Lol.
Thanks - I've done the same more than once!
Sometimes I like the Shore and verticality. The Shed.... Is just a nice close ride in the woods and a great workout.
Agreed! Really nice to be able to ride without driving 45 minutes and crossing 3 bridges! haha.
Nice riding! Those trails look fun now that I can see them in 4K. I could barely even make out that you were mountain biking in 1080p.
Can't wait for you to come over and check them out. They are fun and fairly low consequence!
Any tips on gravity bowl? I’ve been trying to do it but can’t bring myself doing it. Also nice riding

Your video made it look so easy but in person it’s HUGE
