I was in my local Johor Bahru library last week, and a few times before that. It was lovely after its quite a major refurbishment completed. I did many readings, surfing on the net using their wifi, and secretly did a live streaming too 😊
I suggest the cave temple of Dambulla next. There are 2 ways to go up, the long route is a nice hike, but nothing special. The temple is the main attraction
I missed out on it. I was travelling from Sigiriya to Kandy and had to change bus in Dambulla but it was so hot and I had nowhere to store my backpack. I decided just to go straight to Kandy. I guess I missed out.
@@Dale_Philip Dambulla is a really remarkable place, if you get to SL again you should go there. And if you haven’t done so already try going and looking at the wild life in Yala, as you always seem to be interested in the animals too. But slow down a little and take in the detail too......😉
It's not just climbing a big rock. It is the eighth wonder of the world and a kingdom of our ancient kings. It is about 5000 years old. Please correct your definition. Thank you for coming to my country.❤🤗
6:52 These step-like excavations seen in the rock were used to support the lighter, stronger wooden steps of the past.If you look closer a row of simple rectilinear holes can be seen and were used to hold the stair handrail. Great video. Thanks for exploring Sri Lanka. 😇😇
Hey Dale, we were at that hotel few years back, near the buffet area, a huge snake turned up next to our dining table. Snakes are very common in that place , so many varieties of animals, so beautiful
Dale Philip So true , I’m the one who spotted it out of all the tourists. I’m sure you would have gone past many snakes and other wildlife without you actually noticing their presence around you. But when you’re walking through those jungles, or even sitting in the hotel varanda, train your peripheral vision to spot any movements. it’s how the locals spot wildlife
@@Dale_Philip I have been trying to figure out who owns them for years.... I want to eat one 😂. Been out here for 5 years now. Did you make a video for trinco?
Yeah, they seem to roam free. But they don't eat them. No deer on the menu in Trinco restaurants. I made a video but have like 10 more videos to edit and post before it.
Another awesome video!! Once I saw the Instagram story I stopped everything just to sit down to watch your vlog. So lovely place. Thanks for being and for keeping the authenticity of the environment 👏👏👏 I wish you could know some places when you were passing.. like at at around 5.00 I think you were walking the place called KATAPATH PAURA. The rock was polished so much , so the king was able to see his reflection while walking that long corridor / hall whatever it’s called . He was so advanced for a king at that time . There’s so much to this legendary king and his kingdom. Luckily , thanks to my school I was able to visit this magnificent place . I hope you’re able to enjoy more places in Sri Lanka. And honestly you’re being a very good inspiration to how to say no NO to tuk tuk s AND TO WALK !! Ha ha . Please do enjoy your stay . !! Ps - thanks for showing the cobra cave. Never knew about it !!
Thanks for the info. I chose to rush to the top to beat the crowds rather than go through slowly and learn more about the place. It's a bit of a dilemma.
The big squirrel is type of squirrel. My friend used to have one of them as a pet. They do bite and scratch. Glad to see you enjoying in Sri Lanka . My husband welsh and I'm sri lankan. We are planning to go there next year hopefully.🤞

But slow down a little and take in the detail too......😉
Dale you really live life to the fullest 🥰 you always put interest on every existing thing ❤ 😊
Balan yaddi foreigneralata wadaa lanakawe aya ner wadiyenma mee wagee videos balanner!!!!

It's not just climbing a big rock. It is the eighth wonder of the world and a kingdom of our ancient kings. It is about 5000 years old. Please correct your definition. Thank you for coming to my country.❤🤗
Beautiful video love from Sri Lanka
6:52 These step-like excavations seen in the rock were used to support the lighter, stronger wooden steps of the past.If you look closer a row of simple rectilinear holes can be seen and were used to hold the stair handrail. Great video. Thanks for exploring Sri Lanka. 😇😇
oh its so cool man...i haven't even visited sigiria tho.
looks like you have earned a lot of sri lankan viewers hahaha...... keep up the awesome work!
Hey Dale, we were at that hotel few years back, near the buffet area, a huge snake turned up next to our dining table. Snakes are very common in that place , so many varieties of animals, so beautiful
Wow I wish it happened to me. It would make for a great video. 😅
Dale Philip
So true , I’m the one who spotted it out of all the tourists. I’m sure you would have gone past many snakes and other wildlife without you actually noticing their presence around you. But when you’re walking through those jungles, or even sitting in the hotel varanda, train your peripheral vision to spot any movements. it’s how the locals spot wildlife
I enjoy your accent switch to when speaking to sri Lankans. Pakistani English, you even spoke to the dog in said accent haha. Come to trinco.
I was in Trincomalee last week and used the same way to talk to the deer 😂
Dude I love your accent
I'm glad you understand what I'm saying. 👍
The big squirrel is type of squirrel. My friend used to have one of them as a pet. They do bite and scratch. Glad to see you enjoying in Sri Lanka . My husband welsh and I'm sri lankan. We are planning to go there next year hopefully.🤞
I would love to have one of those as pets. They look like a lot of fun (minus the biting and scratching).
I don't know much but I heard that there was a enters through the sigiriya rock to the top. .I don't know if it's real or not
This is the first time I've heard of that.
You are inspiration for many...love your blog....love from kolkata India 🇮🇳❤️
Thanks bro 👍
I did not expect this much fast reply.....what a great man you are....you take good care of your subscriber...and my best wishes for you to hit a million soon.......you are welcome bro.....
Sigiriya mirror wall have Sri Lankan written ancient history facts from 2000 years a ago
It would have been nice to have s guide tell me these things but I really wanted to get to the top before the crowds and the extreme heat from the sun.
I dont know why i ❤ your videos.. just awesome buddy ☝❤😍
