Hair Extensions: Purchase synthetic or human hair extensions in the color and length of your choice. Wide-tooth Comb: For detangling your natural hair. Leave-in Conditioner: To keep your natural hair moisturized. Edge Control or Gel: For sleek edges. Rat-tail Comb: For parting your hair. Hair Clips: To section off your hair. Rubber Bands: To secure the ends of your twists. Scissors: For trimming any excess extension length. Procedure: Start with Clean and Moisturized Hair: Wash your hair using a moisturizing shampoo and
conditioner. Apply a leave-in conditioner to your damp hair, ensuring it's well-hydrated.
Detangle Your Hair: Use a wide-tooth comb to gently detangle your hair, starting from the tips and working your way up to the roots. Section Your Hair:
Use a rat-tail comb to part your hair into small, manageable sections. Clip away the sections you're not working on. Apply Edge Control or Gel:
Apply a small amount of edge control or gel along your hairline and edges to achieve a sleek look. Prepare the Extensions:
Cut the hair extensions into the desired length, considering the fact that twists will add some length. Begin Twisting:
Take a small section of your natural hair and divide it into two parts.
Take a strand of the prepared hair extension and intertwine it with your natural hair, starting at the roots.
Twist the hair extension and your natural hair together, ensuring the extension is securely wrapped around.
Secure the Ends:
Use a small rubber band to secure the ends of the twist. Be gentle to avoid tension on your natural hair.
