Just what I needed to fix my tribit. My speaker took a hard fall and stopped working but I found out the motherboard moved out of position for button contact so after a little nudge it’s working again. Great presentation and editing of your video btw.

Do you know if the batteries are in series or parallel? I am assuming series so they should test out as 7.4v across the black and red? Thanks for the video! Mine is brand new and isn't charging the batteries so as soon as the battery died it won't work anymore.
nice video man, love the details and effort that you provide. my tribit xsound go starts to sound distorted after being used for years, and im looking to repair it myself since its still usable. can you tear off the qr sticker at the bottom of the driver to reveal any information behind it? the qr code just says TD0256BS2C0060732898 and google results show nothing. the only specs i know about the drivers are 40mm(1.5 inch) 8W.
Just curious if it was neodymium magnets used for the speakers?

Bro my Tribit Xsound Go is not working when its not charged. In order for the speaker to work, it must be plugged in. What do you think is the problem of my speaker?

It could...depending on how well you put it back together.
Is this the upgrade version tribit sound go...? Usb C cus the old one with micro usb use TPA 3118 . The new one downgrade 😅
The older version is model IC-BTS20 with 12w power. This one is the new model BT-BTS20 with 16w power.
The connector is a bit of a downgrade and a puzzling change but in my opinion the improved sound and power would still make this model an upgrade.
@@mikeharvey3798i think it's my mistake but i saw terdown x sound go it use TPA 3118 amplifier not SEMT amplifier but check the 2017 board of tribit go it's use SEMT amplifier i confused maybe it's a Developer board that use TPA 3118😅 the power to much to handle so they switched the amp so no downgrade 😊
@@gadingguna4099 Thanks for your reply. I probably should not have even responded to your comment because my knowledge of electronics is close to zero. I just ordered the new model so was concerned about it being a possible downgrade.
@@mikeharvey3798 no downgrade from original tribit it's interes me which brand spiker will do downgrade internely.. and tribit was not😄 JBL and bose did..
One of my drivers is buzzing on bass. Can i fix it?
you mean the one of the speaker right. I'm having the same issue. I opened and found that Left speaker foam is damaged. It needs replacement. I need to know the speaker foam size so that I can just replace the speaker foam myself.
@@AmrishGamer right. I opened it up and cleaned it. Never see any problem but its buzzing sometime and it is less loud than the proper one.
