In 2023, there are two ways to stand out. Innovation: Haus, One/Size, Danessa. The other way is hype and that's where I think the Dior/Mario blushes live.
The cherry blush looks beautiful on you, with that said I don’t think that the blush reflects the price. This is not for me. 💕

The purple shade looks like a bruise. It has not only a brown undertone but a cool toned grey brown undertone. I have a purple blush from Sacha Cosmetics but it is purple warm chocolately brown and looks way better

Thank You for this demo! It’s hard to find anyone on RUclips close to my skin tone trying these shades out. I personally like purplish berry shades, but I get what you are saying. MAC has a blush shade called Film Noir that only looks good on me when I’m super tan, most of the year it reads the “bruise” effect you are talking about. Beauty Bays’ Merlot is also like that. Btw, amazing eye makeup!

Thank u for comparing the Haus Labs and Berry by Dior,I do own them both and like them both but I get what you’re saying about a Berry with pink in it! I think you would LOVE AND LOOK STUNNING in the new Gucci “Intense plum” it’s my new fav! It’s expensive but if you want to splurge~ I got ,one at Nordstrom. Shade looked like a bruise on me. The haus labs blushes are 1000% worth it & id recommend those over these.
I love that I got to see the blushes swatched on dark skin. I would’ve loved to see you do a wear test before you gave a final verdict.
oooh a wear test sounds great! i usually don’t do wear tests in videos with blushes, but that’s a great idea!! this was just my first impressions, but i usually come back in a speed review video on my final thoughts after trying out different products for a couple of weeks. 💕 thank you for the suggestion - i have soooo many new blushes on the way to me and i definitely will do some wear tests!

These definitely are a different formula than the first two, they even have a slightly different product description. I loved the old ones because they gave me a really lovely lit from within sheer flush. And you really couldn't build them up that much, they would look very sheer and glow-y no matter how much you piled on. I tried one of the ones you did, Cherry, and it has way more opaque pigment than the other two that I have. With this new formula, I agree with you. There's no reason to spend more because they're nothing particularly special. With the old one, I wasn't ever able to find a dupe that had the same effect.
Juvia’s place already has a dupe for the cherry color. It’s one of their dual blush sets. But I want the Dior version because it’s buildable which to me looks more natural.

there is an affordable blush palette i think you’ll love from “metamorphosis bf” makeup brand. they’re a small family business i think but they have a orange blush palette called “michoacán” and a pink blush palette called “blushing bubbles”! i got it based off a recommendation from juicyjas! :) they’re pigmented!!
