Either this is a horrible edit or those are horrible umpires (I'm leaning toward the edit). From what I could see many of those pitchers were still as a stone when the call was made. I'm sorry. THAT is not a balk.
For the many years I’ve watched baseball, I’ve never understood the whole balk thing. I THINK it’s when a pitcher starts to pitch and doesn’t. Other than that, I don’t get it…or like it.
