Didn't know Italy was changing to flashing lights. Unless these are some older tracks that use flashers.

I don't understand why Circumetnea has to have these damned TD96/2 control boxes!!! Are the FS64 switching boxes with the bells above the traffic light poles no good??? Greetings from me and Gaetano from Italy!!!

Hey AlessandroE414, and Gaetano, I would like to answer you if I can: Practically you should know that on the circumetnea railway the level crossings have been replaced many times over the years (from the FS64 they became TD 96/2, barriers became substitutes in several ways). If you check Google Maps and go to the date history, you notice this. Furthermore, some level crossings have remained intact (like that of Paternò), and others have changed completely (like that of Valcorrente, near the shopping center and the central traffic island). The FS64s, as you mentioned, are good, even with the bells, in a certain sense the workers on this railway thought they were doing half-antique things: therefore using the FS64 without pinwheels, but bells hanging on the pole, and TD 96/2, to make them safer and more innovative. TDs are good and I don't agree that they are brutal used here! I hope I answered! You could ask Justus in some other Italian videos, he is always available in certain cases!🤔😁

I would like to fix something for you: there are 5 flashing red lights and not 4. Furthermore, if you can satisfy another request from me, I would like you to let me know if you have recorded the video of the level crossing in Valcorrente. The street is between Via Valcorrente and Via Rinaudo, near route nationale 121 (or SS121, a highway).❤😊

Fantastic, do you have more video near Linguaglossa or Piedimonte? There’s one in Linguaglossa in the country without gates

Why does the camera make it look like it’s flashing?

It happened to me too in two videos, I don't know the reason...I think it's the type of flashing red light put on, because it's strange that it flashes (they often dissolve and then reappear in other videos of him, a continuous loop of the fades). You could comment again in another video to Justus!🤔😐
