Finally, I don't feel so lonely. There are plenty of people that appreciate the music I like SO much! I'm truly happy that Shakatak's beloved by so many people.
Saw this fantastic group live in Slough at the Falk room at the brake in the middle of the concert I got talking to bill sharp whot a nice guy

You cannot beat the 80's jazz/funk/soul sound.
After 30 years they are younger...Miracle! I love them. I spent my teenage years with this sound...and now, my middle adge years also filled with this wonderfull sound...

I really got into Shakatak in 1982 when I was livin' in the UK. The following year I was working on a cruiseship out of LA, and found the LPs "Drivin' Hard" and "Night Birds" in a record store in Ensenada, Mexico. Needless to say, I bought them and still have them.

Wonder Land, It is well known, the music softens the evils. This LIVE Shakatak is just a marvel and until today I do not get tired of listening.

I have been into Shakatak since the 80s. I never got to seem them in concert in the US. I'm not even sure if they ever came to the US to preform. Still love this group.

IF THIS AINT IN YOUR TOP 80's classics BANDS you need help..... enough said Shakatak back in the early 80’s. I think they were a very underrated band, but those of us who appreciated good music always sought them out. Their music still sounds good today. I loved this track NIGHT BIRDS...😎

This is the type of music that gives humankind the vocabulary to get you through your daily existence. We bemoan the music of today but fail to fund arts programs that would develop and create artists who seek to edify a people.

Such band formed and keeping high level and continue to exist for over 30 years is Rare. They created and showed the new balance of tasted essence of music. I also think Each member not only have Mastery of Instrument but also Excellent teacher for each instrument,
