I didn't want to play chess anymore till I saw your Max-lange video. It gave me "this" feeling back and is now one of my favorite openings. I really like this long video as I can learn to play without a board (whilst going to bed) or analysing all these games in the afternoon. Either way great format ❤❤❤

Amazing, instructive and soothing play as always! Thought i was dreaming seeing the brief slip up under time pressure at 1:25:48. I would have hung dozens of rooks by this point, but its comforting to see that occassionally even a player of your calibre isnt immune to the clock
@@iwandoherty3419 There are many differences but also many similarities among those gambit-based openings. They usually all work best in fast time controls (I beat a 1900 with the Rousseau Gambit in a 5 min Blitz game, they played exf5?).
Intrerestingly enough, at 3:24:08 white could have played Rook to g7 which would result in a draw, because when you take the rook, its stalemate and when you move the king, the rook moves with you and it would be a draw by repeated moves... quiet fascinating But obviously noone sees this in a 3 minute chess game, I just happen to pause the video there 😂😂

This board looks sick, it's also pretty cool that you can connect your phone to it and play li chess and end up just being able to see where they move. It's also cool that when you play, it converts over to the online game. I might get one eventually.
I purchased a board and accessories using your code. I like the way you didn’t push the subject of this video as selling the board…but providing 20 games of ASMR game playing content. It was hard to see the far away pieces vs your normal wood board. I find I’m good using the online 2d board but I have a hard time transitioning back to over the board chess. This will help revitalize over the board chess for me, kids and grandkids. Screen time is to high in the world. Thanks!
Hi, i wonder at 22:18, int he second game, if you took the rook with the knight, so you check and you fork the king and the queen, you take queen, then fork on rook and bishop. Does it take longer to checkmate than the actual play you chose ? I want to know, why you chose this sequence please ! :D (i guess i am a rookie ! )

I was playing unranked on LiChess and most of my opponents seemed to lower rated than me, but there was a couple of really tough nuts to crack during the run. If I had played rated games, my rating would go up with every win pairing me against tougher and tougher opponents, which would ultimately make something like this impossible for anybody except a GM.
Regarding game six, I was taught that e5 is the reason why e3 isn't the main line. According to my teacher 3. Nf3 is so strong precisely bc it prevents e5.

The games are unrated, since the challenge would otherwise be basically impossible. I call out the rating of my opponents from time to time. They are usually about 16-1700.
