    Okay it's definitely changed the look the exhaust I really feel doesn't go with the blacked out bike. The light looks clean and modern nice upgrade.

    Exhaust looks like it would burn the inside of my leg. At 5-6" my leg comes down (flat foot) where all those bends are. Looks good tho

    What an awesome custom built scout it really is a show stopper and I'm sure Jason is extremely happy. Very pleasing to see that a more believable hp figure was achieved rather than these on the edge of detonation pie in sky 100 plus tunes you hear about 😉

      I hope Jason’s happy, if not I’d be keen to take it back and keep it haha

      We do aim for more rideability with these things. The mid range had a really good boost which is perfect for your every day rider

    Fantastic! What mid-controls did you use, or did you fabricate them? I been wanting mid controls that actually look like they were made for the bike.

      We used a custom mix of the kuryakyn kit and a set of brackets from another scout

    Is there any way to use the stock rear fender and drop it down to fill some of the gap to the tire without doing custom mounts on it?

    • @PurposeBuiltMoto
      @PurposeBuiltMoto  2 года назад +1

      the problem with that is the standard fander mounts are static. if you want to create tight clearances you need to make the fender move with the rear suspension

  • @theoneandonly808
    @theoneandonly808 2 года назад

    89HP?!? Don’t they come from the factory with 100?!? You managed to mod 11HP out of it?! 👍🏻✌🏻

    • @PurposeBuiltMoto
      @PurposeBuiltMoto  2 года назад +1

      Haha we get experts comment on this all the time. Factories ticket Crank HP, that don’t account for the 20-30% losses you get through gearbox and drivetrain putting it to the ground.
      Dyno any stock Indian Bobber you’re looking at less than 89Hp
      Considering the stupid exhaust we built on it, I’m pretty happy with that figure, and the big pickup in the mid range.

    • @theoneandonly808
      @theoneandonly808 2 года назад

      @@PurposeBuiltMoto I fully understand that their figures are to the crank and I really didn’t mean any direspect about it. I’m just coming from a mostly car/truck background and they are typically a 25% loss from crank to wheels. I just assumed the bikes would be much less.

    No Offence BUT The exhaust design doesn't suit the bike and looks out of place. It does not look good at all. It looks like a tig welded mess. The increased front wheel size is nice although the rear larger rim looks shitty and takes away the Muscle look and makes it look cheap and Asian import.
    You have missed Major Performance Upgrades - like Rear Shock Upgrade, Front Shock Upgrade. Wider under sling mirrors/the round ones are useless, A Cam kit and bore kit would of been auch better upgrade than a cold air intake and a piggy back ecu upgrade with an unsightly button welded exhaust that is untested for HP and Torque. No Rev taco side mount upgrade and no Brembo brakes. Nice Effort but you could of done so much better.

      😂 ouch. Did you watch the video or listen to anything we did here? Half of your novel review has been done to the bike. Good lookin out though.
