What a nostalgic feeling of longing and reunion for me as an Indian, to go back to the point at which the British Colonials split us apart... These are my people! These are my brothers and sisters! Why couldn’t we have loved and supported each other in helping us recuperate from the ravages of colonialism and cooperatively progress into this 2020?
    We are one, na?
No regrets. Only wisdom from our mistakes and rectifying our situation today, now.
My deepest and sincerest love to you Pyare Pakistan 🥰

What a welcoming note, Almeida sahib. Wish u can visit Pakistan and I can take you around. We are the same people on both sides of the divide.
As Marx says and I quote "Religion is the opiate of the masses", well politics is equally bad. But I must hasten to add that like yourself sensible, thoughtful and loving people still live on both sides which is a breath of fresh air.
I myself have never been to the 'Hindustan' of Allama Iqbal and Gandhi Jee. Wish that cud happen one day before my spirit flies away to its final abode. God bless you, Sir 😊

Really thank for sharing such a beautiful video. I'm from Goa India, Goa got liberated in 1961 but lot's of Goans preferred to live in Karachi. I used to wonder why they would not think of returning back to Goa, despite of the fact that Karachi belongs to Pakistan & Goa being a part of hostile country. Looking at this video I think Karachi was more modern & cosmopolitan compared to now. I wish partition would have never taken place & we should have maintained the charm of the city. Love from India.

Muslims also Foolishly accept that and now 3 different Muslim group salut to 3 flag, 3 Antham, 3 currency, 3 languages

Alas u didn't see glorious past of Karachi but unchecked and unstopped influx of Population after 60s changed it all. The settlers brought rural values, tribal culture, finatic set of mind and their own crime pattern. Encroachments in all around Karachi destroyed it's infrastructure. Transport literally became a 'MAFIA'. Political parties attempted to change the demographic to secure their interests. This filthy game is still going on.

What happened with this beautiful, simple and crime free Pakistan. Salute to Britishers who made the infrastructure and other living resources which we are still using and following.
Instead what our nations leader did for us? gifted us Marshal laws, MQM, Political parties and their militant wings, extortion, drug mafia, increase rate of illiteracy, poor and expensive medical services, Bribe trend ,Taliban etc etc.
Our nation still love with this country but we need to change the leadership. This is the real super power in the world if we get together on one platform.

Shafik Memon you seems to be an educated person. I voted PTI in 2013.
I'm not an MQM supporter but...... what about the other parties, mafias operatiing in Karachi ??? .. According DG Rangers and ISPR, 70% of the crimes in Karachi are being done by the groups of Liyari Gang War and the extremists feeling from tribal areas / fata due to Army operation, taking refuge in Karachi. (see DG Rangers report submitted to Supreme Court). Who is running the Sindh Government since 1970 ? .. Yes PPP.... with full support Sindhi-Baloch ethnic groups, with their own CM and their own IG Police.
In 60s, 70s and 80s, there was no MQM, but clashes were between local Urdu Speakings and Pro-Ayub / Pro-Zia pakhtuns and Afghans. In 60s Karachi supported Fatima Jinnah against Ayub Khan and the first Mohajir-Pathan riots happened in Karachi, thus on the advice of Punjab's military & civil bureacracy, Ayub Khan shifted the capital from Karachi to Punjab. Be clear, there was no MQM, no muhajir nationalism in 60s. Thus, Fatima Jinnah declared as RAW agent by Ayub Khan and imprisoned. Thus Ayub Khan bowed the seeds of Muhajir nationalism.
In 70s, during Bhutto rule, people of Karachi opposed Bhutto due to his nationalization plan and divide and rule politics of East Pakistan, Bhutto too didn't comfortable with Karachi political views, thus first Sindhi-Muhajir riots happened, when Bhutto imposed Quota System and imposed Sindhi Language as compulsory in the school and colleges. Hence, be clear again, yet there was no MQM, no muhajir party. But yes several other ethnic parties were already present long before the arrival of MQM.
In 80s, this time it was Zia, to change Karachi's demographics, he started to settle the Afghan refugees in Karachi with huge numbers, to balance / counter the Urdu Speaking majority in the city, after the arrival of Jahil Afghan refugees, there wan in immense increase in robberies, sectarian extremism, drug mafia, religious extremism and more importantly the weapon culture all around the city. Be clear that there was no MQM, no muhajir oriented party in the early and mid 80s as well.
Dear MQM is not innocent either, but be clear that MQM and its militancy started way ahead in 1988 when it won the elections for the first time. Who is responsible for the "Pre-MQM" events in Karachi ? ....
