This tapping was so good, and it was so refreshing to see a TBR without overhyped books from bookTok! No hate against reading those kinds of books, I'm just tired of hearing about them 😂
I’m so thrilled to learn about What You Need to be Warm. I ordered two copies today for Christmas gifts. Wonderful video. I hope you have a beautiful Christmas. 🌲
So excited to see The Woman in Black on your TBR! It’s one of those rare books for me where I love both the book and the film. I also went to see the play a couple of years ago, it’s fantastic isn’t it!? 😍
It's such a simple but effective story and I can't wait to read it 😁 I love spooks from a book so hoping it delivers. The film and play were both so so good, I agree!! Thanks for commenting 😊
Honestly I was surprised to see a book about an austrian folklore character (Krampus) but I am very interested 🥰 thanks to you I will give it a try Great video btw ❤️
I am reading it as we speak and it's very very good so far, fantastic descriptions, emotion and atmosphere. And Im enjoying learning a tale from Folklore too! Thanks for commenting and hope you enjoyed the video :)
Since Saturday my brain has been doing something really weird, which consists of my brain kind of spacing and like time pauses but I'm still functioning, if that makes sense, so I'm kind of worried about sleeping tonight, so I'm glad this video is up. Hoping i can sleep tonight! 😅❤ Love the video so far 🫶🏻
That sounds a bit disorientating! Take care of yourself and ask for some help if it carries on! Hope you sleep better tonight and ASMR js helping for some relaxation :) thanks for commenting ❤️
@@SilverfishASMR I slept good! It's currently 2:00 in the afternoon, I haven't had that feeling all day yet so hopefully I don't, if it gets worse I'll talk to someone about it, so far my boyfriend knows and helped me yesterday, loved the book tapping and I noticed having the whispering helped my brain! Thank you ❤️
These all look great, I hope you enjoy! I haven’t read The Christmas Guest specifically but I like Peter Swanson as an author, if you haven’t read The Kind Worth Killing by him I’d highly recommend! I’m currently reading Rules for Perfect Murders by him - not as good as The Kind Worth Killing but I enjoy his writing in general
Great news that you enjoy Peter Swanson as he is a new author for me! I would love to do a video where I read all the suggestions viewers give, I've had so many great ones 😍 thank you, I hope you enjoy the rest of Rules for Perfect Murders! And thank you for commenting 😊
I think a video reading suggestions sounds brilliant, I'd love to watch that and get recommendations from it too! No worries at all, I wish you a lovely festive season and a happy new year in the next couple of days :)
Oh my gosh! I’ve just bought Krampus for myself for the Christmas season! Really excited to read it 😊 Almost returned it though because I thought I got a bad copy due to the deckled edges 🤦🏼♀️ Didn’t know there was a movie based on the book- I saw one called Krampus (2015), is that the one?
Awesome I hope you enjoy it! I have started it and the writing and visuals are brilliant. hah, the deckled edges mistake is funny 😅 yes I believe that's the movie! Now I've started reading it I think it may be less based on book and more the general folklore
Have you read Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett? I read it in the summer but had I realised how wintry it was I might have saved it for now. There is a lot of snow ❄️
I didn't realise it was wintery! I've picked it up in book shops a few times, and the cover itself draws me in. I've heard the writing style can be a bit tough going which has made me put it back down again but sounds like it might be a nice new year read when it's still cold and snowy!! Thanks for commenting :)
@@SilverfishASMR It is written in diary style and I was a bit taken aback at first but I got in to it quickly and I loved it. The main character is amazing and there’s an enemies to lovers relationship, at least on her part. She is very socially awkward and he is very not so and she finds him annoying but it’s so heart warming. I loved it. So don’t be afraid of the writing.

Books! Books? 🤟🎄🧑🎄
Books! 🎉
Hi. I read The Snow Child. I really, really enjoyed it. It's an adult fairytale. Very unusual and the setting is Alaska which I love.
Sounds so magical and wintery I can't wait to try it! 😊 Thanks for commenting!
