Too Many Notes?

I wrote this short 'Etude' to have a musical example to keep my technique up. It's structured as call-and-response, with melodic phrases being answered by sixteenth notes.
Of course I'm far from Mozart, but I can still play too many notes!
My goal was to get the notes as even and on the beat as possible; listening at 50% tempo, I did OK.
This is in d minor, the darkest of all keys.
