Yeah, as much as I love flying, I generally don't do flights longer than two hours, three max, it feels like I'm wasting my time staring at a screen for hours on end unable to do anything else except watch RUclips during the flight on my PC. Using the Auto Cruise feature sounds like an excellent way to do long haul without having to sit here for 7 - 10 hours. I'm just wondering if "A Pilot's Life - Chapter 2" will function normally with Auto Cruise (Time Compression).
APLv2 works well with auto time compression. I use it in the PMDG737 for longer than 4 hour flights and with the obvious result that you will only get credit for 1 hour flight, if you were flying a 4 hour duration flight, and use 4X auto compression. The advantage is that now you can fly from KJFK to EGLL in 2 hours using a 4X compression, and over water you can go to 8X.
I am using APL2 and I am often using the auto cruise of the 737. It will work normally, the only thing is that it use the actual flight time and not the in-sim flight time. Meaning that you will be payed less. For exemple : if you are flying an 8h flight but do 4x acceleration, you will only be payed for 2h of flying and it will be registered like that in the logbook
@@mammid9622 My PC is my only source of entertainment. If I am flying for 6, 7, 8 hours, I can't do anything else on the PC except browse the internet or watch youtube or a movie. Just thinking of the feature of moving the EFB around, Airbus modules should use the tray table as an option to place the EFB or some reference items, as it is also fwd facing and more ergonomic, rather than moving views Left and Right.
