Korg Polysix + Valhalla Delay
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 24 сен 2019
- This is a no-talking demo of running the Korg Polysix through the ValhallaDSP Delay plugin. I just browse through some presets, tweak some sounds, and improvise some melodies and chords. There's also a bit of ValhallaDSP Room plugin for ambience.

Absolutely gorgeous man, I love these noodling sessions :) Thanks for showing the delay settings on screen as well, so I can have a go at one I particularly like!
more polysix videos! i normally dont care about vintage synths but the sound just hits different
Pure magic at 1:35 ; 2:40 ; 7:50 ; 10:24 ; 17:00 ! I love your sounds and set up!
Vallhalla delay is soooo nice - best $50 you can spend!
no doubt
What a glorious journey into the Polysix
amazing. vintage power + modern processing
my god these silky creamy string sound even better than juno! what an underrated synth!
Wonderful, dreamy, inspiring ... it was/is pure joy watching you jam and improvise.
Man - I don't know if you still have the Polysix, but after getting the Prophet 10, I was certain this was getting tossed out of my studio, but there's something really nice about its core sound that is different enough from the Prophet 10. Also, I think it's one of the best looking synths out there... even my beat up one, lol.
I love these no-talking videos!
Fun tip: Since you can use Reverse Pitch Mode on an instance of Valhalla Delay, you can feed that instance's output to another instance which is also set to Reverse Pitch Mode to flip the signal back around to normal.
stunning
I actually listen to this. Just like that. Cause it sounds really good and I find it very inspiring. Made me go and purchase a polysix myself. Tomorrow is the day.
I been smugglin polysixes for years. I can fit 2 in my ass and have no problem getting across the borders coz the dogs looking for drugs.
Thanks for helping me make one of the best purchases in my life. I just got the VST’s and still amazing as the original.
I just sat here and listened to the whole video while loading and unloading the dishwasher. Memorizing!
I thought at 1:15 I fell in love but it was at 2:30 my heart dropped from the face of the Earth thanks to that synth.
14:58 made me melt :)
Sounds lovely and that's an understatement
Your plugin selection is nice! Would love to see more plugin reviews!!!
This video is actually on my favorite videos list, merci !
Incredible playing, beautiful stuff. Watched/ listened many times, can’t get enough of this ! Definitely time to switch out some gear for a PolySix and invest in some Valhalla plug ins !
my favourite source of inspiraton: "once upon a synth"
That's a superb Polysix demo and so inspirational to learn piano! A camera on top to show keys played and knobs settings would be perfect?
Beautiful stuff man, the sounds and the playing. I have a question: as a mixer of a few years, I'm still not GREAT with Delay. I've tried a few different plugins, but is Valhalla Delay different ? Is it higher quality compared to most delay plugins ?
Nice patch yoooo
Genius & Legend
would like to see Valhalla Shimmer + Delay and what settings work the best for poly6
Nice. I bet your grandmother would love it
he already did a really nice video on the gm + delay :)
Out of context, that's a really strange comment.
@@alexanderaultman I was talking about his real grandma ;)
@@trollingisasport 😆
Loving this upload, great job as always! P.S. What mechanical keyboard have you got there? :>
Glorious Poly6 sounds how I wish I still had mine. Guess the Poly61 will have to do but! Love the Valhalla software just a tad pricey for me at the moment but one day. Great demonstration of both instrument and software.
Inverted- Popes Valhalla is only $50 per plugin...
Really amazing sound design and playing thanks for sharing!
PS : I would love to see soon an update to your amazing Esion App for features like : cropping recordings, merge recordings, audio importing...
i've been loving all these demos, i think i'll go for the Valhalla Delay soon :D i'd just like to know, can i install the Vst on multiple computers ? how does valhalla work licence wise ?
Valhalla uses a license file that you keep on your system drive.
Okay thank you for the info :)
Ahhh the good old Polysix had one for years combined with a mono poly
Quite Nils Frahmish @18:30
Totally. Considering the huge low end this synth and other capabilities we all here know I don't get why Nils Frahm is not using one and he's using a JU60 instead :p
Really good sounding instrument and effects, ive been using a korg dw8000 alot, and im seeing some commonalities. (also that sweet price difference will benefit alot of people, one day the dw8000 will rocket up in price and people will think its as cool as a juno 60, which it is
Ugh, hate having to reach up to the mouse to adjust anything though
Buy a small midi controller with knobs like the Midi Fighter Twister.
Alternatively, just use a software emulation of the synth (even the synth manufacturers themselves can't tell the difference in a blind test) and use a MIDI keyboard that has knobs on it. Just saved yourself a couple grand.
@@GuyGamer1 my solution was to ditch computer music entirely
@@BarnacleButtock analog is expensive and rare then we have technology to make it digital(vst),
is not great and best but so far is enough.
@@iksanuwu Not great? The Korg Polysix vst might not be, but fuck me if there're plenty of incredible VST's out there that could fool even pros in a blind A/B test.
@@iksanuwu its not expensive if you have the money.
I love the sound of this synth, would you mind letting me know what waveform and parameters were used for that sound from 15:00 - 15:10 ? Cheers.
Sounds to me like a single saw osc with some vibrato and the cutoff set low
Sweet!
Awesome
SICK!
please also do a tutorial on sherman filterbank while its on the desk :P
Sublime
Fantastic job not doing the "make the 80s synth sound 80s" thing. Sonically, synthesizers are timeless
10:34 Aww yeaaaah!
Thanks
I had a MonoPoly and played my band mate's Poly 61. Would love one of these. Pretty please for a reissue Korg or Behringer??
Your wish has been granted it seems. Behringer polyeight imminent
@@haidar6280 Yes great news :)
Can you tell me more about the table
What’s the computer keyboard?
Super++++++
I have both things, and I don’t know what I waithing for ...
Btw this is beaufirul, thank you ♥️
These sound amazing, esp the first one.
6:55 reminded me a lot of Vitalic.
13:40 also really rung a bell. Vivaldi maybe?
How much presets does it have?
At first I thought polysix the plugin one
Have you ever thought about using tape loops in your set-up?
God knows when will i start making YT format videos 😐
