Great summary - wasn't aware of element class being available, that's great! My favourite feature has to be dynamo player updates for sure, adding symbols descriptions, URL for help/wiki and multiple folders to jump between is a game changer.
@@DesignTechUnraveled gonna save time on panning large graphs and graphics card energy spent redrawing the workspace so there will be some fringe benefits too..
I like the little camera bubble. There are some content creators that obnoxiously plaster their face over 1/4 to 1/2 the screen so this is quite refreshing. Great video BTW.
@@TroyGates I use OBS to record and descript to edit these days. It allow recording in 60fps which is better for screen recording IMO. I can do a video on my setup sometime.
Let me know below what new feature you are most excited about below. Note: This video was published shortly after Revit 2023 appeared in my Autodesk account (manage.autodesk.com) and I had a chance to download it _(around 11:30 pm MST / 1:30am EST)._ This was asked about on LinkedIn at this link (rebrand.ly/AutodeskManage2023) and I thought it was worth mentioning here as well.
Unfortunately, as with most software things, there are changes to be made. I am just glad it is backward compatible still (even with the node size difference)

Definitely! Dynamo player is definitely taking steps on the right direction!
Great walk-through, John. Uh I'm loving the new Group functionalities 😀
Definitely!
You had me at collapsible groups
Defnitely one of my favorite features too! 🤯

Thanks for the kind words. I've been trying to find the "style" I wanted to use for a bit, so I am glad to hear the reaction to it.
@@DesignTechUnraveled just curious what you use for your recording application? We use Camtasia but are always interested in what other people use.

Thanks John for taking the time to do this. The new class name makes more sense in my opinion now, there were too many type of types 😁😁
Definitely agree! One of this things that didn’t make sense, we got used to it and now it’s how it should have been. 🤪
@@DesignTechUnraveled yeah 😁🤣
Great overview, John! I‘m also most excited about the groups, they are a game changer! But I do miss the package icons in the library .. 🤷🏼♀️
Absolutely! The groups are a great addition for sure. 😁 And yes. the icons are gone too soon 😥 Thanks for the comment!
Thank you!
I must say though the ability to hide wires is a little scary.
Won't be using that much. The dynamo player features are fantastic!
Agreed! I think it is a neat feature, but does make me nervous too!

Each update there are some very important functions all the sudden not working.. becoming a sad story..
