You should smelt the ores with a blast furnace and it would be more efficient to smelt Nether Gold directly because it gives an ingot and not just nuggets.

This video is actually insane but instead of mining nether gold with fortune you should have directly smelted it because it give 1 ingot Edit- also while smelting you should have turned the coal into coal blocks

The raw iron block you found and the weird placement of iron is a giant iron ore vein. They span huge areas and have iron mixed with tuff. It is a 1.18 feature. There are also ones for copper and gold

A suggestion: with the nether gold you should smelt it when you have got it using silk touch so if you smelt it in a furnace it gives you a full go,d ingot.
@@princeemishi245 no it doesn’t, I’ve seen it tested in other videos and when mines with fortune it’s like an average of 7 nuggets per ore, which is less than an ingot, which therefore means less gold than smelting it. I’ve also tested it out myself if that helps anything.

I admire your dedication I am a brand new player, Mining is my favourite part of mine craft but I can only mine in peaceful mode I am too terrified otherwise. I will practice once in awhile for items but I can’t play full time in easy mode. Makes me jump too much.

Iron ore can generate as a large ore vein found at deepslate layer. These veins consist of iron ore, blocks of raw iron, and tuff.
you should turn that furnaces into blast furnaces as it would smelt the valuables faster

I think the most satisfying part of the last method is picking up the blocks. The amazing sound it makes when you pick them up 😌

It is actually better to mine nether gold with silk touch then smelt. Then you get ingots instead of nuggets
You get way more using a fortune III pickaxe than smelting them
