Can you make JPG pics of QR Codes, when you go places for stores to scan them for refunds or returns? Will this work? Some places like Amazon when you go to do a return or refund for damaged products, they just send you a QR code now without even showing a code or link to email to a store to print at, etc. But not everyone uses cell phones. I have a tablet but don't really use a cell phone. It ran into problems with the amazon refunds ONLY sending QR codes but nothing else.
So this is why I wondered if you can scan from JPG pics of QR Codes?
    Thanks.

Any QR, even JPEGs, will work.

I have a Moto G Power and I have Google Lens switched on, went to camera and focused on the QR. I had to take a picture, then look at the picture in the gallery, hit Lens, then the website info came up. But every time I try this, it will only give me a msg to install and set up a web browsing app. I have Chrome. What does this need to work?

Sounds like to me it's the Moto phone trying to install its own browser or app. Check what's your default browser and change to Chrome if it's not already the default. If still issues, I have a feeling you will have to go with the app they are asking to use.
