I'm not at all drawn to this deck's artwork, but I have to say wow what a book! :) I think it's so cool how she has spent so much time and energy on it, and it really shows how much she loves her deck creation. I wish more deck creators would put that kind of love into their books, many of us would love that. (Ouff I love your eye makeup here!)
This has been on my radar for a bit now. The grimoire is incredibly. I love how passionate you are and instead of having videos be “Instagram/tumblr-esque” you are more focused on teaching, guiding, really putting your whole into the occult & I really do appreciate that. It’s truly refreshing and I am so grateful to you on sharing your wisdom and teachings.
I asked internally for a home deck, as I hadn’t found one, and have gave away of all my decks because I had brought them in a less conscious state, I just wasn’t feeling them anymore and it was a tough parting. Looking in into bringing home a deck now after time away from the cards and I have been doing my research. Not in a rush at all as I now understand how important it is for me to sit down and bring in what I connect well with, a sort of conscious purchasing. This deck, this is it. I had to come re-watch this video, this deck just arrived and I am so wonderfully overwhelmed…. Canadian with shipping was close to 300… but the book alone is worth the cost… the production and presentation is absolutely beautiful. I am so excited to spend time with her…
This deck! I’ve had it for almost a year now, and I’m still getting to know it! I do find it challenging to distinguish between suits and the court cards, but it can definitely take you on a journey. Thanks for your review!

I love what you said about slowing down with a deck. There is a time and place to do a quick shuffle and get a snappy reading. But the depth that can be achieved through slowing down is worth the time and energy. It’s one of the reasons why I love working with chunky decks and guidebooks because it physically requires me to slow down and focus.
Me too! 😂 Even though I almost bought this bundle like 3 times. Last yr. Hahaha. I have small hands so that made me a little nervous. Plus I was fairly new. But I can use this as oracle also is making me think about purchasing. Lol I want the Grimiore so bad.

THE REVIEW I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR! I have been waiting for your review of this deck so I could get a more in-depth look at the deck outside of Xia's website photos. I wanted a real, honest, and raw opinion on this before I begin the save for this investment. I am drawn to the images IMMENSELY and as someone who is re-awakening after a year-long dormancy after having a baby, I look forward to having one dedicated deck to get me to dive DEEP in rediscovering myself.

Unfortunately, EU shipping and taxes would double the price of the deck (!!!), but I happen to have a friend in the US coming to visit later this year. I've informed her that she'll need to leave a bit of space in her suitcase for that gorgeous hunk of a grimoire. Haha!

I just got this deck, and it has been, shall we say, kind of like a bully so far. It's been accurate, but it's also been kind of mean in its messages lol I definitely think it's a shadow deck for when you need a slap in the face. It also told me basically that I wasn't in a space to take my time with it so I needed to come back to it at some other point in the future when I had more patience. Now I'm on youtube watching videos to see if anyone else had a similar experience. 😅 Am I nuts for thinking each deck has its own personality?

@jaydencparker4968 I only use it for very serious inquiries where I need a good slap in the face. It also told my friend off when she tried to get some messages out of it. 😂 The artist's other deck, Children of Litha, is my daily ride or die deck now. It's so accurate and easy for me to read. I prefer Children of Litha, but I like them both, just for different things.

The Nameless one is on my list, but it's intimidating and I know I'd need time to study the heck out of it. Beyond deck interview and daily draws I'd probably hesitate to go into fuller readings with it for a good while especially with what you say. I get that vibe from it. Slap in the face deck lol.
Would you say its cardstock is similar to True Black as in thick, airy, light cards? Or are they more dense, solid and compact-feeling? (maybe like the Tarot of the Holy Spectrum if you're familar with that one) Thank you!
