    great breakdown, coach!
    i learned 3 things from watching that game and u've confirmed them in this video:
    1. Bynum OWNS DeAndre Jordan.
    2. If u don't double team Kobe, u're screwed
    3. Blake Griffin can only dunk
    Also, Del Negro needs to learn how to control his team like how u control ur kid! :P

    Absolutely love the video, Nick! You could not have analyzed the Clips current situation any better. Even though VDN sucks as a coach, at least the Clips should listen to him until his contract doesn't get renewed in the offseason. - Joey Weinberg

I really feel like dude could be one of the best PGs in the league in the coming years when he gets some weapons around him. Thanks and keep up the awesome work. I've already watched a crap tone of your vids in day 1.

    Yes - just fixed the color balance issue with a new light (kept going too red before) but now I gotta reposition my green screen - hopefully that'll get rid of shadow, or I'll get another light for it... Wasn't a problem til I was forced to switch cameras....

    @blentty It's not only about the kind of shot - it's the score, it's the situation, a lot of things make shots different than each other

  • @KenowaGFX420ofwgkta
    @KenowaGFX420ofwgkta 11 лет назад +2

    Two reasons:
    1. It's Kobe
    2. The defender didn't contest very well or quickly enough. By the time Kobe hits his apex and releases the ball, the defender is still flat footed and his hand is blocking the "24" which doesn't do much to a guy like Kobe

  • @bballbreakdown
    @bballbreakdown  13 лет назад +1

    the first one was over the back, but it was so vicious and exciting that..
    the second was not a foul - Gasol is in the air, moving into him as well

    Great breakdown. Del Negro seems to lack a very important quality that good coaches simply must have: influence. He knows he's got a general on the floor in Chris Paul who will make the right decision more often than most in the league, so he relinquishes that power to him effectively destroying his coaching image to his own players. I bet CP would love it if the Cavs fired Byron Scott so that he could go after the Clippers front office hard to pick him up.

    sweet green screen. i think the only thing bballbreakdown needs is a second hand man - you know... back and forth commentary and change of tempo. you should get like a guest coach to share his opinions as well, even (and especially) if they conflict with yours.
    i think that'll add even greater insight to the breakdowns and a nice professional touch to it.

  • @bballbreakdown

    When Pau gets up in the air, short of Blake extending his arm away from his body (which he didn't really do) it should always be a foul on the defense

    actually if you watch the games closely... players do run around with extended arms, especially when penetrating or dribbling so defenders cant successfully reach in for the ball. the don't necessarily do it all the time, but if you watch the game closely... you'll realize that a lot players do it.

  • @SprintPaco
    @SprintPaco 11 лет назад

    Steve Blake's actually pretty solid as a backup point guard. TBH the main issues are MWP and Nash. Get a solid, quicker and defensive PG and a good wing. Clark can play solid minutes at SF/PF, Jordan Hill as C/PF. I like Tony Allen, but no way are Grizzlies giving up a player for nothing again (Kwame for Gasol lol)

    The Lakers have been playing good basketball since the arrival of Sessions. They are scoring more points, Kobe is more efficient, Bynum is getting more touches. Can't count them out in the West just yet I reckon.

    Billups was supposed to serve as the second head coach to the Clippers and his injury was a major blow to them. Yet, nobody should cut any slack for the Clippers or their coach. They are still a capable team with CP3 and Griffin and they should start getting their act together now or else they are going to be one and done in the playoffs
    The Lakers also still need to get their act together too. Sessions is their X factor and if he is not ready for a title so aren't the Lakers.

  • @funakiexpressV2

    i feel that the other 7 teams in the west playoffs have a better chance in the playoffs than the clippers, memphis look dangerous and deep, lakers frontcourt is always a worry, Houston/Spurs/thunder are no doubt deep as hell, Jazz got a nice frontcourt and they are all more well coached (except lakers, veteran leadership?) but thats just my opinion. i feel that they may be several game 6/7s in the west
