I got food poisoning many years ago. It was October 1988 my youngest was 2 months old, we had a touring caravan and went to stay at a campsite just outside Blackpool, on this campsite was a chip shop, I got sausage and chips, hubby and toddler got the same but only ate the chips. Halfway through Blackpool illuminations I started to feel really, really ill, I had the worst stomach cramps I'd ever had and felt like I was going to die, long story short it was a good job we had extra carrier bags in the car I vomited all night, needless to say we never went back to that campsite again.
