Much has been said about Morissette's voice and talent and I agree with everything. One other thing I want to emphasize: in all the songs I have heard in her voice, I noticed that she respects the songs and consequently their authors. In this version of Akin Ka Na Lang, she produces something different from what she had done on Wish-Bus, adding more romanticism without tampering with the song. She is unique.

There are only few young singers out there who know how to control their voice and Morissette has an exceptional keen sense of putting justice to every song, However, many of us are just settled for good looks and mediocrity that other talented singers are often overlooked. Like other artists, Morissette's talent is millions of light-years better than over exposed stars on TV yet they are the privilege ones to sign recording contracts left and right.

Huwag nang hilingin ang pagibig na parang makaawang naglillimos itoy binibigay sa iyo kusang loob at puno ng pagmamahal. Mahal na mahal ka sa taong hinihiling ng pagibig.
So different from the Wish bus version. A lot more mellow. But I love it just the same. I love both versions.

Rasonant belting, growls, vocal break, whistle, and this.. airy vocals I’m surprised she also copied Mariah’s airy vocals. Mori you’re a great singer but you cant be an international singer if you keep copying Mariah! You’re worse than Ariana Grande! Ariana is being compared to Mariah because they have the same tone and theyre both breathy. But Mori totally copied Mariah! Gosh! Cringe!

If it is TOTALLY COPIED majority of the people should have accused her of copying Mariah's voice already. Guess you should take surgery to get new ears because yours ain't working fine. Giving criticsm but you're not even a proffesional vocal coach are you? Come to my office and I'll give you some real vocal sessions :)).

Just like in this video, she totally copied Mariah's airy falsetto but just like you said, she still DOESNT SOUND like Mariah because Mariah has a much better TONE. Buttery, heavenly tone! No matter how hard you copy her technique but just like randy jackson said "the secret is from her tone" Poor Mori, she only have a poor sound tone compared to a million dollar tone. So Mariahs whisper can defeat Moris belt because of her tone.
