Gramma, your hair looks beautiful. You look beautiful. Gramma wanted to learn how to drive but didn't. My grandmother never learned how to drive either. My grandfather drove or my grandmother took the bus or walked. Many of her friends did that too during their time, it was much more common. Stories of the price of her house reminds me of stories of my grandparents house, and they only lived in one. Bought it in the 1920s for $5000 on Galveston island. My dad was "BOI" aka born on the island. They lived across the street from the beach backed to the main boulevard. The house has weathered numerous hurricanes and is still there, built of cedar. Recently heard from my dad that the owner is moving the house elsewhere. It has been there until now for close to 100 years. Thank you for sharing your stories Gramma. We love yours, and it helps us remember our own. Love you, Gramma. You are a blessing to the world.🌍❤💕🙏😊

My friends dad is 99 and still owns the house he built himself in 1943. He and his wife of 75 years are unable to live in the home any longer though due to physical decline on his part and mental on hers. I feel lucky to know someone of that age range. Looking good grandma !

One thing I've noticed about Italian families is that they always baby the boys... Biologically, I have no siblings; and I'm a girl, but my mom still babys me! I don't always like being the center of attention, though lol I'm only 20% Italian (my mom is about 50%), but we're damn proud of our heritage, and we embrace it. I don't think so. They keep round the clock medical assistants on hand as she can't take but a step, maybe 2 unassisted. She needs help to use the restroom, bathe, etc. Her body is looking very t7red but that mind is sharp as ever.
