I was trying to use Airbyte to read local CSV files with around 3.5 million rows per day. the performance was quite bad, but it was so great on development experience.

Git clone no longer has the same content. Instead the new approach is with the command 'abctl local install'. Unfortunately it failed to complete with an error that it was unable to get some packages. I see a few with similar error chiming in on the forums. It would be great if they responded with a suggestion on the work around.

Thanks Mike for a short and concise tutorial! I have 1 question: Why we need Docker to run Airbyte? Can I skip that step?

I have to load data from SQL Server(Onpremise) to Azure SQL for 100 different customers. They all are using same database structure. Is there a dynamic way to create pipelines so that I don't have to do it manually 100 times?? Or Can I create just 1 generic pipeline and change source connection dynamically. Destination (AZure SQl) is anyways same for all.

Good Video and great explanation. I am facing one issue.
    1. when i tried to work on small schemas(having few tables) i am able to configure connection and able to push the data to snowflake. But when i tried to use big schemas, it always throwing some errors. I am using Redshift as source
so is there any way to overcome this? what size data Airbyte can move at once?

Great video! Thank you 🙏 How do you normalize a column if it is already in the database like the payload column in this video?

Very great and useful video, thanks. I am new to Airbyte, and I selected 'Destination Default' for 'Destination Namespace' first with no error to sync the data. But when I tried to make changes on Namespace with 'Mirror Source Structure' and reset the data, I got error with 'Current role does not have permissions on the target schema', do I need to grant the specific permission to the role? Thank you.

Can I sync data from JSON files to a PostgreSQL database with ease? Right now I'm using custom scripts to bulk insert data from many many JSON files. I wonder if it can be optimized with Airbyte

Hi Gabriel, Airbyte has connectors for both JSON & PostgreSQL so it appears to be possible. I have not personally tried this but it's worth a shot!

You skipped a setup step of google client id and client secrets and refresh token (which are annpoying) when linking the first source, but overall good overview

Airbyte is pretty junk now… the open source just dumps all the data into a single record in some weird json looking format in MsSql… I’ve tried downgrading the connectors etc 🤷🏽‍♂️
