Enjoy watching your videos on RUclips as I use to live in Burnham on sea and work in Highbridge myself and come over at least 4 times a year with my wife and caravan and stay down at Brean on Northam farm and when I see your lorries I know haven't got far too travel

Hey Martyn. I'm a shunter for a large milk company in droitwich. We have a keedwell trailer dropped in our yard and I've seen a few of your colleagues dropping and swapping helped a couple of them out by pulling the trailer out. Been looking out for you. Anyway enjoyed the vlog 👍

The problem with getting a bad planning day done (like Friday) is planning will plan it again, knowing you can do it, because you've done it before!
Question. Trailers. You had to swap trailers, what's the difference between a Conventional and a Combi? And why the swap? (I think that's what you called them, it was a long time ago in the vlog!)

Strikes me how patient and laid back you normally are, with other road users etc. That rejected load would've wound me up too. Such a waste of diesel, time etc. Cheers for great blog as usual.

Enjoyed the vlog. Must say I prefer the longer ones. Your boss must have money to burn. That second load for Frome that got turned away must have cost the firm a few quid. Sending it all the way back to Devizes seemed somewhat illogical, to say the least. But these are the joys of the haulage industry.

wow someone thinking about a caravan, and not parking it on the street over night, my parents got someone living by them, they haven't put their caravan into storage since the begining of the season last year, and parked it on the street, so when someone parks the opposite side of the road, no emergency vehicles can get passed without causing quite some damage to the car, and/or caravan. someone already had an accident with the one car that was parked opposite the caravan. council will do jack about the caravan parked on the public road untaxed, because the car is taxed and parked on the driveway, so not even connected to the caravan.

Dam would have you missed you Wednesday on your way back to the yard, I’d most probably would have been coming through Brynglass tunnels around that time. My buddy that was grave digger for Caerphilly Council now he drives the bin lorries for them he has a nice 2001 Honda motorbike.
Just goes to prove that Drivers usually know best. To schedule a 15 hr break and then two bookings at the wrong end of the day is ridiculous . Sometimes planners are a right pain in the arse and cost their companies thousands 🤔

I work for a small firm, 8 artics and we all keep the same trailer most of the time. If we get a refused delivery we usually have to wait until the following morning, but I get paid by the day. I try to ring the customer if I think I'm going to be tight for time, but I'm talking after 4pm not 2pm, that's rather early. Mind you, the cut off at the TP DC at Tilbury is midday or half past, ludicrous.

Should have gone straight to the delivery instead of going to Newport and home (also wasting a 10hr day). You'd have been 1st in the queue to tip in Frome with plenty of time to go to Devizes and get back with the second load.

An hour and 3 quarters long, nope I'll give it a miss
Yup - I have to agree. 1/2 an hour tops is my usual limit for watching someones video. An hour if it's of real interest and I have followed the uploader for a while. But coming up 2 hours is just a no-go. Yes, this guy will have his followers, but, maybe unlike them, I have better things to be getting on with other than taking almost 2 hours out of my day to watch a single upload. If everyone we liked uploaded a 1 hour video, then we'd be sat here all bloody day at the screen. I'm sorry Jenko, but this ain't doing it for me.

yes admittedly there are some long vlogs i do try to do some shorter ones too last couple have been less than an hour long. Try to do a mix of both to keep everyone enjoying them 👍
Trucker Jenko yeah it’s more that I don’t get the time to sit down and watch them all but I do really enjoy them. I know a few of the others are now doing closer to 20 minutes per video but posting multiple times a week (which again for me personally works better and RUclips doesn’t allow me to watch a bit at a time).
