Make sure you check the restrictions have been removed just behind the inlet rubbers, they make a big difference 😉

Thanks Northfox! I will certainly take a look at those and get them removed 😀

on these bikes its easier to disconnect the throttle cables at the throttle, and leave them connected to the carbs when you pull the carbs out. Also connect them to the carbs first before you reinstall the carbs.

Hey Ross, I’m enjoying the series. I’m actually after a bit of info! I’m currently building up a 1993 750, but I’m building it from bits and I had a somewhat butchered loom. I can not find where the oil pressure switch plugs into the loom! Comes from the switch in the sump and ends in a little green plug - but where does this plug in? And help would be amazing.

Thanks for the comment and feedback 😀 really glad you are enjoying it!
So the one I have as you say comes from the sump and is a green wire with a yellow trace and a bullet style connector fitting. If you look at the positive battery terminal side look at the bottom of the battery on this side and it is coming out of the main wiring loom in that area. There are also some other plugs there too. Let me know if you find it, if not I will grab some pictures for you.
