    Looks like you numbers are all over the place. I would cast actual bullets and use that to sample each. I would expect PB + 3% (tin?) to be different from 10:1 where you got 10% tin but they are pretty close in your testing.

    how do you know what the bhn is then, and not just a number on the dial

      The BHN of pure lead is a known quantity
      and the BHN of a 20 part Tin to lead alloy is known therefore the results speak for themselves
