From Saipan to Pagan and Agrigan on Hafa Adai (May 10-12, 1969)

Peace Corps Marianas chartered the ship, Hafa Adai, to make a three day voyage to the Northern Islands of Pagan and Agrigan. The radio was out on Pagan. In May 1969, roughly 46 people and one PCV lived on Pagan and roughly 36 people and a PC couple lived on Agrigan. Pagan had an airstrip and a dock but Agrigan did not. A small boat was used to get from the ship to Agrigan. On the trip, the doctor did a small operation and the priest held mass. See Pagan & Agrigan photo content for additional details.
