The German Christkindlmarkt is at the Rockbund just off the Bund. Over 40 beautifully decorated wooden huts and an enormous Christmas tree are bringing you the traditional German Christmas spirit straight to Shanghai. Warm yourself with a cup of homemade mulled wine, enjoy various dishes from Germany and other countries, shop at the craft market, and meet Santa to make your festive wishes.
It's good that the Chinese govt is now allowing Christmas festivities and deorations again, from the last time, the govt was cracking down on them and prohibited the pubic from displaying Christmas decos and stuff. I just hope they know what Christmas is really all about.
Stop demonizing the Chinese government. There is no "crackdown" on this. It's just that this is not a traditional Chinese festival. We don't encourage but don't oppose it.
Inspired by the German “jahrmarkt”, usually seen during Christmas holidays
Happy New Year!

gooood job:)
Thanks!🙏😃
Shanghai is truly an international city. This German-style Christmas market is better than anything we have in Canada.
Thanks!😃
The Shanghai German market is miles better than my home town German market.
I would love to experience a Christmas market in Germany itself!😃

@@royw9196

This is not true, I read news and tweets that Christmas has been banned in China.😂
😅
