Jade Avedisian and Kaylee Bryson's fan base is world wide and they don't have a big foot print on the social media platforms, when they do post it's about racing and nothing more, I'm wrong, Kaylee does show off her fishing skills occasionally. Most of their fans come from watching them race on Floracing and Dirt Vision. I saw a post this morning on social media from a famous 16 year old female Dutch singer by the name of Emma Kok. Emma stated she really enjoys the Midget racing here in the states and she said Jade Avedisian is her favorite female midget racer. She went on to say that Jade gives her the inspiration and strength to get through her daily medical needs. Emma has a rare chronic disease gastroparesis, also called gastric paralysis. She therefore receives liquid food through a stomach tube 22 hours a day. Emma said that the way Jade was floating across the race track Sunday at the BC39, it was like Jade was "Dancing on the Stars", which is the latest song Emma has posted on RUclips that has garnished 8 million view in just 2 weeks...
I know you post this type of content for views and to make a living but why do we have to put people down? I’ve been in a sprint car like 3 times. I ran 6th at Belleville out of 40+ cars and I’ve never been in a 305 or with that team. At riverside I was still learning. Thats a big jump from a midget to a 360 and that was a few years ago. I feel like your comparison is off judging me for not winning in a car I’ve never been in. Jade is an amazing driver and we should congratulate her on her performance instead of being negative about it and comparing it and making it seem small. You can’t compare people that run USAC Midgets to people that run full time sprint cars. They are two completely different types of cars and they take time to learn.
Simply put - I just don't think of Midget racing as a highly ranked form of dirt racing, and I think others find it hard to understand where it ranks as well. I also think due to the monetization of motorsports, that other classes and drivers are not getting their fair share of what they are doing and what their class is being ranked as well. Drivers are used in those examples, as it is the only way to make judgments on these things - because they are the only examples we have to properly formulate a "rank".. If those in the comments are wanting to set the bar at the level of other highly ranked drivers of the past, then we must also put the similar examples next to those as well. Being a driver naturally opens you up to be a part of this judgment cycle - similar to NFL, NBA, and/or other players in different sports. There are those who place those judgements on twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other places... that definitely aren't on the level of this platform. So, when I say it on my platform, I also open myself up to the critique of yourself and the audience in the same judgmental fashion. Basically, my opinions in my video are normal, your opinion in your comment is normal... and I personally do not believe either of them to be stationary. Best of luck in making me look like an idiot, I surely did not want to be one when your performance did not match my projections originally with the 360 situation in FL. Maybe I am a victim of thinking too highly of those I see potential in - as referenced, that situation is a moment that really adjusted my perception of Midget Racing success and it's transitional ability to other divisions of open wheel racing. Thank you for your time.
@DirtTrackRacing410 I honestly just don't think drivers are used to anyone telling them fair opinions.. too much monetized perceptions involved. If you tell someone what they don't wanna hear, they won't buy your parts, rent your cars, come to your track, race your series, or unfollow you on Instagram (as Jade did after this video came out) etc etc.. Everything is so fake and inauthentic because of the money being swayed based on ego. Somehow, this video is viewed as an insult to Jade, yet in this video, I advocate for her to be the face of the @floracing High Limit Racing Series in the Roth Motorsports 83.. like that's an insult?? This is the degree of what I mean.. I also don't believe in giving drivers male or female a pass.. and that is something that those begging for "equality" do but in racing they seem not to.. it's not right, and you aren't going to have me on my shows judging race incidents or driver ability with a skewed perspective just because you're a female... you're a driver.. sorry you've potentially been treated differently than that.. but privilege based on your binary label does not exist on my shows.
Jennifer Osbourne from Geyserville California at the 360 day before the Chico gold cup was very very impressive beating almost 70 percent of drivers qualifying and less than .250 of a second behind Larson as she went out first to qualify ... Talk about pressure with only a handful of sprint car races under her belt....she went from outlaw carts at chico's cycleland to racing the goldcup that week and out qualifying more than half the big boys... She is your next female kyle Larson at 17 years old .. look her up Chaz.. her 360 stats that night were amazing.... She is a smooth operator, consistent and fast..it took Larson 3 laps to figure out how to get around her on that 360 night which he won..
Jade will go wherever her career takes regardless where I would like to see her to go. Regardless of you are anyone else’s assessment of midget car racing today and well aware that it and many forms of motorsports are different in various ways, I still enjoy the midgets and how difficult they are to race and I still enjoy it as much as traditional sprints. Those 2 then wings and all other dirt racing divisions is my personal choice it just a shame it isn't as popular as it once was in my grandparents days. They keep ya sharp no matter what other divisions someone races and that's a well documented thought by many.
Adjusting from non wing to wing is underrated! Different drivers adjust better than others, but I don't think it should diminish what they achieve in non wing. It's a totally different technique, been plenty good at one and not the another! Same as going from dirt to asphalt in general although the other way around seems harder! Those two girls you mentioned are still very young, give them time! I guess for their parents or managers, it must be difficult to know where to go next with their talent. You don't know exactly what the right path is, so many options who knows the absolute right way to go! Give them time!
You don't judge things fairly, you always talk down when it comes to the female dirt racers. The racing Sunday was very difficult, the track was very rough and everyone was beating and banging into one another. You talk about Jade taking Justin out, but what about all the other drivers that seemed clueless about how to get around the track and ended up causing some big accidents. I was hoping Jade was going to pick a career in dirt racing especially dirt late models but she has chosen a career in Nascar. And with the help from Toyota I believe she's going to be very successful. She's already making more money then most of the drivers in the wing dirt series, she's fully sponsored by Toyota, she's been in 6 Toyota racing commercials that aire on all the Nascar broadcast, plus she has some solid sponsor and the way she performed at the BC39 I would imagine more sponsors well be knocking on her door. All she can do is try racing in Nascar, if it doesn't work out she can always come back to the dirt world....
C Bell Kofoid and Axsom, Thorson, Larson,Rico are the only few drivers to come out of midgets and move on to Big cars succesfully... atleast that come to mind
To name Bell is a farce, he came from ASCS... Kofoid, Larson, Rico... all came from California SC racing prior to midgets... so explain. You're leaning on Axsom (micro driver) and Thorson as an example.. continue.. and good luck.
@@LongLiveTheChaz im not trying to conquer any big achievement buddy just saying guys that have ran midgets and won in dominant fashion, and moved on to big cars and got wins...
Sunshine, Bayston, Zeb Wise As a side issue to your point , USAC/Midgets seeing all these drivers move on in recent years to wing racing etc seems to be an increasing problem for them in retaining their star drivers . Bacon, Pursley going, Timms soon probably.
@@LongLiveTheChaz chaz pigeon hole-ing all these drivers is nonsensical... Midgets is a cheaper form of open wheel high torque, high power to weight ratio, like a sprint car
Id like to see jade follow what buddy has done but unfortunately i think she will eventually end up in bitumen racing. Shes already racing bitumen cars just like reimer is. Also being a talented female is a bonus for any bitumen teams when i comes to marketing. That being said i think midget racing has become more of a fish pond for nascar teams especially in the last 10 years. I think Cory day will be lost to nascar which is fare enough if thats what his ultimate dream was. Can blame TRD and KKM for turning a racing division into a pre school for nascar. Im sure KKM gets plenty of side deals when one of their drivers get a nascar ride but in saying that im sure alot of the KKM drivers that pay for their ride know that the 300k per season or whatever it is, is money well spent if it means there could potentially be a nascar ride at the end of it all which im sure is where most of these young drivers want to go.
And thats the problem instead of looking at her as just another driver its a female driver. I hope she does upgrade to winged sprints, late models something that she can expand her talent.
