Nice little demonstration there mate. Far more information was shown with that rock than what can be explained i reckon. As they say showing is better than telling. Also a good bit of gold at the end.

Not wrong Matt, it definitely shows high and the low pressure zones for sure. Better ground for sure, just shoveled no yabbie pump as well! Cheers thanks for watching 😊

Good bit of concentrates off "secret" creek in the Whipstick. Good bit of demonstration with the rock forming a comet tail of heavies in it's low pressure wake, as compared to a rooster tail, say, at the bottom of a gully, or back of a sluice on the creek. Onyas, Andy!

That bucket was not from the whipsticks, it came from north of Melbourne. That spot has some of the best gold I have seen in a creek. Thanks for watching again.
      Cheers Gabi.

Liked, shared and commented. Like ya read about. As always 😂. Quick funny true story. Last fall I spilled my gold in my driveway. I scooped it up into a large cooler n said it’ll be there next year. Welp. It’s next year n I’ve been classifying it. First classification I figured I’ll just pan outside quick. Second classification I decided to dry n bottle up for indoors panning (or outside) I’ve battled mold in my house so I don’t purposely carry in extra moisture. So as I always do I filled a large cast iron pan with minus fryer basket plus 10 mesh n stuck it in my wood fired grill n closed it. Went inside n did some other crap.
As I walked outside I knew immediately I’d f**ked up! I could smell hot tar. I’d forgotten that my driveway has a lot of ground up roadbed in it. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ So I was basically making a gold filled fryin pan shaped asphalt paver. OH S**T! Oops. Big fryin OOPS! So how’s yer day😂?

If I can remember , next time I'm at a creek , and find a rock say a metre wide , I'll dig for 5 metres behind that rock
And with a fallen log in the creek - I wonder how far behind that log - maybe 5 metres as well.
Or I got me numbers badly wrong.
Regardless , the hardest part is to find a flowing creek

    • @andypandyAU.6669

I hear ya about the flowing creek! But it is interesting, Andrew (adventure did a video about it) but it is good visual display of the flow don't you think?
Thanks for watching & commenting, cheers Andy
