Holy shit, I had no idea Blackie would still be in such great playing shape. His voice has gotten lower >but< his tone is still as sharp and round and powerful as it used to be, and so with the addition of the higher-register vocals from the other guitarist, it sounds great. First time I saw them was opening for Metallica at a small club. Armored Saint was on the bill also , we paid $10 at the door and I was at the stage , I think it was 1983 ....
Blackie is the man. No pretense. Just pure, in your face rock n roll. He owes nothing to anyone as people gladly sing in unison to his anthems! Blessings Blackie!! Long live Rock N Roll!!
Just great, my friend! Thank you so much for full show! I had no doubt, that it would be on your channel! It's so cool, that you attended this concert and filmed the whole show for us! W.A.S.P. FOREVER!!!
I watched the show live at Skogsröjet. Great performance for being in the business since the 80's. You still kick ass, Blackie! Wishing you all the best!
Holy sheet! He sounds amazing! I'm gushing how awesome this is! Wish they'd done Blind in TX, 95 Nasty, Into the Fire and Harder Faster but F me I'm so happy to see them touring!!
WASP fan since I was 14. I remember buying their debut album. WASP has a undeniable sound and attitude. I always thought they were better than many more popular bands from the LA scene. The Last Command and especially the Headless Children( my fav Wasp album). 👍
My God, Blackie sounds Fantastic! I can't imagine what a professional recording of this event would have been like. Out of this World! You've got to be kidding!
Damn! Blackie looks good and sounds great! He lost a lot of weight and his voice sounds as good as ever! Im impressed!! Definitely wasnt expecting this! Bravo Blackie!!
Thanks for sharing this amazing show! Rock n roll will save this fucking odd world! Im from Brazil, Campos Gerais MG. Come here and enjoy the Moto Rock Café in june. Be welcome. PS.: sorry my poor Englhish. Rock n roll will never die.
Seen WASP at the Dollar and Blood Drive shows at the Troubadour in the early 80’s… Always a fan… They sound great here! The guitar players vocals make the difference… Randy Piper and even Tony Richard’s vocals were a big part of the WASP sound… Good for WASP fans! I’ll be catching a show on this tour for sure!
Man I envy you that. I saw them in Edinburgh around the 80’s and had a blast. Great band. Only been in the Troubadour once, as a tourist popping my head around the door when on honeymoon in LA! Just wanted to say I’d been in there - so many of the bands I loved rocked that place. Would’ve been awesome so see these boys there live. Great times, killer bands, wonderful time for music.
Glad to see them out there still playing but man...makes me feel old. Caught them back to back nights in the mid 80's. Opening for Kiss one night and headlining the next day with Overkill at a small club in Brooklyn, NY (L'Amour).
Fantastic live band! Great to see Blackie still at it, and wow Mike Duda...an amazing bass player, he plays Entwistle's bassline on The real me perfectly!
