Such talented players all. Particularly loved the extraordinary piano in there, and of course Albert who looks like Doc from 'Back go the Future ' and plays suitably otherworldly guitar. No pedals, gizmos, distortion, just pure hot picking - Maestro!
Out of this world...... ! How come not more people express their amazement by posting a reaction or at least a thumbs up ?? An added pleasure to see Albert Lee so enthusiastic, too ! Here and there he actually stopped playing to be able to fully enjoy Robert Well's solo !
There is no musician who has less ego, is more humble, or as insanely talented as Albert lee. He looked like he was having a blast playing with Robert Wells.
if you watch for it , mr. Lee actually plays the guitar upside down/inside out/and backwards all at once . He always has. . . .even clapton, beck, les paul and stevie ray couldnt do that. truly fkng amazing !
@@treelifeUK in regard to this particular song , your question is valid. Clapton publicly stated that Albert Lee was the "greatest guitarist in the world." This from a man who went thru and fired two entire bands during the five years Albert toured with him.
I am very lucky as I was on a little 4 piece group with Albert in 59 when he was just starting out .I still have those early pics ( black and white ) hardly anyone did colour pics then .He had a Hofner committee as first electric back then.
You a lucky dog john ha ha to having playing with Albert Lee. I just adore him. What a wonderful guitarist. I always say if he had a good manager his would have been a different story.
Would you believe I was in a little rock band with Albert as about 16 way back in 59 and I was the singer .When Albert let rip even then we got guys standing round the stage watching him and he practically played with his back to the audience .We were forever trying to push him forward, but good as he was even then he was shy.i am 77 now but still have old black and white photos of those early days.
check out Albert with Dona . . . .she rips the fkng piss out of that Piano for much longer . . .and she's standing on her feet . . . much like Lindsay Beaver . . . .absolutely amazing prodigies
Saw Albert Lee "live" for the first time about 7 or 8 years ago, back in my hometown Culver City one summer night (weekly free concerts) and I was blown away...I had heard of him..but didn't know much about him...extraordinary, fantastic fluidity of his fingers.... ^/^
Check out a little known album track by Darts, a UK Doo-wop showband, from the late 70's/early 80's. The track's called Hammie's Boogie, & features their incredible pianist, Hammie Howell! (RIP)
I could be wrong but... I think that blues masters make a variety show out of it, they just make money and wait for the time when they can play real blues...

There has yet to be such a talented guitarist and at the same time so very humble like Albert Lee.
What about Danny Gatton? And Guthrie Govan!
@@espenfarstad1697 what about them?
unless b b king is allowed into the contest.
So true. He can oblige himself just by playing as a backup rhythm guitarist countless times

OK Dinah you got me ! I hereby officially express my utter amazement by posting this reaction --- Boogie Woogie really blows my mind. Yves De Vriendt
Big thumbs up Dinah. I guess we just have to accept that there are some some dense minds among us. Let us have mercy for the soul-less. 😁

The best guitarist and the best pianist (in my opinion); you can't go wrong!
seeing Albert lee was a charm....now to see Robert Wells
One of his finer moments most likely because Alberts piano style can be in the same circle as this. He owns it, Amen!
Brilliant!
Loving Albert Lee 😍
Bless you RUclips ! I just started a Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings playlist and found this and the Swamp Shakers. I never knew about them. Great stuff !
A L B E R T starts playing and immediately the whole thing is uplifted into another dimension.
Enjoy the ride, and look at that smile on Albert's face at the end of this one, it's clear he enjoyed it to the max. Nice one.

Chet Atkins came close. . . . . but never quite attained the same level of admirable insanity Albert Lee hovers at while holding up the crown.
whereabouts is he doing that, then? - upside down/inside out/and backwards all at once

Is this Johnny Haylock? I’m Karen, Albert’s wife.
Albert Lee is YT's most talented musician, and his performance is fantastic, and he does not even look vain about it.

All of a sudden there is a great musician on stage 😊👍😎
I just adore Albert Lee. Gawn (go on) Albert - in the inimitable words of Chas & Dave.

Too bad Danny Gatton wasn't still around that man was so talented with his telecaster it sounded like three guitars at once.
Danny was great but so is Albert.
