Peter Collins was suck a special rider. He seemed to defy physics at times. Lee, Jessup, Olsen, Peter Collins, Ivan Mauger, Kennett...etc. What a lineup!

I was there in the crowd, a Belle Vue fan so of course Collins was my favourite but Olsen was always a joy to watch.
Martyn, I have to thank you for all these old school footages of speedway racing. Being a Yank, this sport is slowly slipping away in Southern California. I try to attend as many races as I can in Costa Mesa and Perris. Unfortunately, the racing isn't as often as it used to be.
My pleasure Jason, I've been involved, and watched Speedway for over 40 years, still love it, and quite sad it's not so prevalent and it was. Stay Safe at this difficult time in the world.
I was a belle vue fan I went in the early 80s the old track on hyde road manchester some great times.

Mind you, the NSS takes some beating.
Went to most tracks in the 70s and always thought owlerton at Sheffield was a great track !
Agree and still is.
The best track was Coventry,that’s why, it was said it was difficult to pass as it was so fast.
