Some nice looking machines here. Scooters come in two types; the small bore ones say up to about 200/250 and then the maxi-scooters that range up to 850cc. The smaller ones are good zipping around the city, food delivery and the like and a commute. The larger maxi-scooters can handle all of that but are built for open road touring. The better ones have a few comforts and mod-cons such as cruise control, ABS, GPS and even the possibility of music on the road. The Suzuki Burgman 650AN Executive is in my mind the benchmark of maxi-scooters. It has ABS, it has a CVT with a manual mode allowing access to a 6th overdrive gear when on the highway and there is also a power boost for over taking in auto mode. The adjustable screen means plenty of air flow at low speed and good wind protection for the arms and chest at highway riding speed. There is plenty of storage in the dash and under the seat. A top box adds a bit more storage. Initial price and registration (the costs associated with putting the bike on the road) are a factor to consider when buying a maxi-scooter. If you can afford those costs it is a great way to commute as well as see the countryside. Enjoy what you ride because it is the ride that is important not how fast it goes, not how quickly it got there or even the machine you rode to get there. I like the two wheels up front of the Piaggio MP3 style bikes/scooters. They do provide extra stability in the wet or on slippery oily roads.
After the "Dragster" which is absolutely stunning - the Kymco is the best of the big size scooters - and of course the model on it is also fantastic looking!!!

Love the simplicity of that Italaget scooter. No need to hide everything in plastic. Plain function is georgeous. And a hundred dollar pile of stickers isn’t very graceful nor beneficial for the machine.

Would love to get one of those Dragster 200's but I'm pretty sure they'll never make it into the USA where scooter mentality is still in the stone age.
And as far as I can tell, the only two on this list available in the U.S. are the Burgman and the MP3. I would probably buy an Integra sight unseen if Honda would only bring them to the U.S.. People aren't buying big, ugly, dated Harley's anymore... Come on scooter companies, give it a try and actually do some serious advertising
