I hear you! Truthfully though some of Rodes cheeper mics would still do the trick until you were able to get a nicer $200+ mic. Glad this video could be helpful though!

How is this a budget????
I know it may not necessarily feel like a “budget” setup. You wouldn’t need to use these exact cameras or lights. But if you compare this setup to higher end sets, this setup is a drop in the bucket in terms of cost. Hope that gives some clarity!

I understand it may not feel like a budget setup, but if you were to look into buying high end gear to do this same setup you would be spending at least 3 times the price. Once you look at the higher end setups, the setup I talk about in this video becomes a budget setup. :)
