I dont understand why he didn't fucking do anything. I remember the halo 1 elites being a lot more responsive then this. There had to be some bugs with the halo 1 elites while doing this. Like the halo 1 elites always dodged frag grenades too in the campaign. These buffoons just stood there and took it... this vid is fake news.

CE elites struggle against the weakest marines with very low rates of fire, low health, and they accidentally shoot each other. If their minors and majors struggle against them then halo 2 marines certainly can beat them. Now the zealots and spec ops elites are another story but give halo 2 marines shotguns, rockets, and snipers then its another ball game

Halo 2's AI was damn strong. I think it says a lot that the main fights they lost badly were the ones where they had pistols, because the Halo 2 Pistol sucks ass and those two fights against Spec Ops Elites where they got stunlocked.

It's a porting thing, in assembly they have the berserk behavior disabled. They can get shot stunned but it usually only happens on legendary.
