Completely disagree with what was said about Drita and Karen’s fight at the end of season 1 on the rooftop. Karen kept pushing and pushing her all of season one till she snapped. I actually think Karen was trying to rile Drita up to get a reaction out of her. I also didn’t like how in the confessionals when Drita first lets Karen into her home and Karen points out a painting on a wall and Karen says something along the lines of “yeah I know that painting from riding your husband” yeah I didn’t like that. You can tell stuff happened BTS of Mob Wives and was never properly acknowledged on the show, Jen seems to be very neutral and level headed and talk facts and reasonably I’m actually really excited to hear more Mob Wives content from Jens perspective. The other 3 seem to be blatantly team Karen. Great first ep guys.
I agree with you 110%. at the end of the day you are not going to forcefully tell me that you were my friend when I feel like you weren’t. if you moved away and I did not see you, you were no longer my friend. if we did not keep in touch, you were no longer my friend. It didn’t matter if you were pregnant it didn’t matter if you moved away or not. If I feel in my heart of hearts we were not friends then we weren’t friends and I no longer owe you the loyalty. if we become friends again later on in the future then that’s on that, but I think as Karen’s friends, Renee and Jennifer are being a bit blinded by the fact that Karen was throwing shots at Drita and Lee’s relationship every chance she could while also being cool in Drita’s face when they got back to being cool on this show. You have your own kids I have my kids I’m married to the man, at this point too much time has passed so It shouldn’t matter the timeline and it shouldn’t matter whether or not you feel some type away or not. I’m married to this man and you’re not so how you feel no longer applies. We’re either gonna be friends and move past whatever past issues or we’re not.
So Karen did an interview and she said the reason she pointed out the painting was because they were able to watch the show as they filmed so she saw Dritas comments in the confessional. Also production told Karen that Drita didn’t want Karen in her house and was calling production behind the scenes. So karen confronted drita on the phone about that and that led to the scene
I totally understand Renee especially about her relationship with HECTOR. When ur already broken and a good looking man pays attention to you, there’s a power dynamic that takes place and for whatever reason you do anything you can to please them and they take advantage of your weakness so they control you. I’ve been there in my early 20s and allowed it to happen to me. Luckily I got out of it before it got to the extent of being trapped for years but I got into another toxic relationship where I lost myself for different reasons.
RENEE IS 100% CORRECT. Women & girls in abusive or inappropriate relationships with mxn are NOT in love. They are caught up in the rollercoaster and chaos. They are so busy managing everything they have no time to step back and look around and realize they don't even want him.
