    +ChosunNinja No disrespect sensei, But the first knives you reviewed were not cast iron, but hand forged steel. thank you for the recommendation and God bless you

      +Lalaland ..Thank you my friend and i was not offended by your assistance but this is "cast iron" forged steel knife. Please double check and search it on google under (Cast Iron Hand Forged Steel Knife) and get back to me. I also would appreciate accurate information. Its important to me and God bless you as well.

      Thank you for responding, I have checked your information given to me. What I think they are reffering to is the making of the ingot or blank to hammer the knife out of. It should actually be called cast steel, since it contains some carbon content to make the iron itself more durable. However when a smith applies his skill and craftmanship onto the knife and after properly heat treating it. The metal itself changes structure from within and becomes what is known as handforged high carbon steel. These knives were they made of cast iron, would be to brittle to even withstand a blow or any abuse, it would break on impact. Since the innerstucture of cast iron is very very hard and brittle filled with very small airbubbles. I'm a novice smith myself and have researched a lot on the subject, I just think you should know. Again thank you for your reply and I hope that my answer sheds some light on this situation. God bless you and you family.

    Can you explain how to make a proper Ninjutsu Sheath holder or whatever the proper term is? Carrying on back seems to be best way just not sure how to mount it with out a device like you have. God Bless!

    Dear ChosonNinja,
    Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, I've learned quite a lot from your channel and i do believe you are a legit master of ninjitsu/nintaijitsu. I'm looking forward on the ninja philosophies and medicine videos. I hope I'm not being pushy by making a request of a video about that what they call the void. Do ninjas have this concept? I heard about it first when i was reading book of five rings(fifth part of the book called the void) by Miyamoto Musashi. I was wondering if ninjitsu/nintaijitsu has similar or same concept. Could you make a philosophy video about it please if that's okay that is.

    Sir I have a lot of respect for you and wish to study. I've watched your vids for a long time (actually all of them). However I don't have any descent schools in my area to study and train and I would like something real and not fantasy if you get what I mean. What would you recommend for someone in my position? Thank you.

    Always wanted to learn weapons and medicine. I was wondering Chosun, do you teach your students wilderness skills? would be cool learning ninjutsu, would probably be perfect with my kempo and Taiji training. And it is always good to find a master who has a good heart. Love the ending to your videos :)

      +Dan Camargo ...I have a philosophy video about "Martial Art IDOLS" coming up soon. BTW: Who is yours? Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Steven Seagal, Donnie Yen, Jean-Claude Van Damme, etc etc...?

      +ChosunNinja Such an interesting subject. I don't have any idols, just people whose lives have inspired me to be the best that I can be, who showed me what it means to work hard and never give up, people who I've gained a bit of wisdom from observing. I like to think of them as my friends despite the fact that I've never actually met any of them. You my friend are one of said people.

      Well, tbh I dont look up to any of those! My favorite martial arts I would say is Anderson Silva, but I dont hold onto any idols as it goes against my beliefs. But I can completely see where youre going with this. Im excited to see them!

    What are your thoughts on tanto vs. round edge knives? When would a person benefit from one and not the other?

    • @ChosunNinja
      @ChosunNinja  8 лет назад +2

      +Odood19 ...this question is like asking..when do you use a riffle and when do you a handgun. ... The answer lies with: When it is most appropriate.
