@@NathanLeisy Jason has used a bear trap exactly 1 time in his entire cinematic run and it was the remake Jason, not even the original. If you "liked" Jason you'd know he's absolutely nothing like the Trapper except for the fact they have machetes.

i don't think springtrap should be a killer but maybe a killer skin, he seems like a far fetch for what the game is already
@@gamemasterjames5786 Not really, the first chapter of 2025 is licensed in March, on the 2nd March 2015, FNAF 3 released. And due to the popularity (and criticisms) of the FNAF movie and FNAF’s 10th anniversary, it’s seems like perfect timing.
If I were to make Jason's power? I'd give him a bunch of improvised fighting and environmental destruction abilities that subvert the survivor meta. Hide in a locker? Jason can knock the locker over on its face with you in it, and stab you through the back wall for a kill. Crawling on the ground beneath a pallet? Jason can drop the pallet on your head and kill you (Even going as far as carrying you to a pallet on purpose). Sabotage a hook? Congratulations, you gave him a ranged weapon. Doing a gen? Well, if he grabs you, he's shoving your face into the pistons. Opening the exit gate? He's use the switch as an improvised nutcracker on your skull. Basically, he catches you doing anything besides running, he will kill you in a brutal way.
It would work similar to Myer's instant-down, but only with environmental objects.

March also makes sense for it to be Jason because I remember seeing in the Reddit qna’s from the dbd team, they say making a killer takes an average of 9-11 months.
If they license to Jason JUST became more easier to get, then it makes sense for it to be march for Jason.

I hope you are right on this one. For me the game will never feel complete until jason is added. With all the other iconic slashers already there just feels like he is missing. To a lesser extent since alien was added I’d like to see predator too.

Paulie I think Daryl in july, jason in march and castlevania will have a map along with 2 survivors.Mathieu haven't denied the possibility of map for castlevania in my opinion it might be the most hyped maps so far as a castle which we've always wanted especially when forged in fog came but the only castle part of a map we're the exit gates unfortunately.
The moment Jason comes to Dead by daylight, Dead by daylight will control all of the monster genre from there on Jason was the last piece of the puzzle because he had his own game competing against DBD. But if this is true then that means that DBD is the one and only monster genre game of all time they have it all.
Having Jason will be amazing in dbd, although not having crystal lake as a map will be such a shame

I didn’t realize horror inc AND victor miller were working together on this, that throws away the issue where they wouldn’t be able to say “Jason Voorhees” or crystal lake and all that stuff people were worried about.

I heard originally Dead By Daylight devs wanted to have Jason in the game, but at the time they couldn't get the rights. Hence, they invented the Trapper.
Trapper is the 1st killer in the game so that doesn’t make sense

And also you sold me on it I just finished the entire video and the Jason patch being a hint could very well be it . It makes a lot of sense and so does the Sydney Prescott with the “stab” hat I would love Billy loomis too but I wouldn’t label him as a survivor but looking forward to what they have in store for us for sure
They're saying we're getting an unknown licensed paragraph chapter so I doubt we'll be getting a full chapter, which for me will be a disservice when they could easily model a map after one from the F13th game

Jason is the killer for march trust unless if he’ll come out later in sep or October but I’m sure he’s coming out in march
I think Jason is gonna be the lone killer next year, or the Anniversary chapter, hope for this more for a Crystal Lake map. If they can’t use Crystal Lake specifically for a map, there’s always Manhattan, The Grendel, or any of the residences from the other movies, could even use Camp Forest Green from part 6 as a workaround for Crystal Lake without having to call it Crystal Lake.
April Survivor was said to be an original survivor on the stream.
If they revisit scream franchise for Sidney Prescott, they should revisit nightmare on the elm street for a Robert Englund Freddy, a freddy rework with voicelines like chucky would be dope, plus they can be more creative with his powers now that they are more experienced
And man the 2 killers mode with Freddy/Jason will be peak for horror fans
Freddy gets the least love from the license holders
It wouldn’t surprise me if they got rights to Crystal Lake also, that way, Jason, new map, survivor would fall in line for a December release to coincide with Friday the 13th this year.

I would be so hyped for Jason, but at the end of the day it's all about how the Devs implement it that matters. Alien was one of my most wanted licenses and I think the power just ruined it for me because of how boring it was besides the traversal. Chucky was really interesting on the other hand even though it wasn't a top pick for me because it really brought out the character with the abilities. They need to be creative and passionate with powers like Vecna or else it doesn't land
Im really hoping Jason is not just a paragraph thing. I'd love to see Tommy Jarvis in the game as a survivor, and I'm sure Thom Matthews would provide his likeness and voice for the game given his involvement with Fan Projects around F13 lately. Not sure if Tommy falls under the category of Victor Millers stuff, but I'd like to see a survivor Tommy with Jason at least for something as big as F13

@@PaulieEsther Personally I can't stand the "style" of funko pop toys at all, but that's just a matter of taste and I won't, as the kids say, yuck your yum. Do kids still say that? I'm not sure if they're still saying that... In any event, whatever my personal aesthetic preferences, I'm glad the guy will be getting some more attention because of such things.

The newly announced Jason universe is really great and I can’t wait to see new F13 stuff. I’m looking forward to seeing Jason in dbd whenever he arrives in the fog. I’m thinking he will be farther down the line ( I could be wrong) I’m just wondering exactly what they would do for his power. I hope they would be able to bring Tommy as a survivor and camp crystal lake as a map but I understand that there may be some challenges with trying to get the map. In regards to the road map particularly the survivor chapter. I have heard that some people are thinking it’s either Rick grimes or Daryl from the walking dead.
