I went with my cousin to German consulate in Peshawar and I saw there some equipments and ask the guy there, what are those equipment's? He told me those are used to sweep mines in Afghanistan(volunteers from Germany). This was year 1993-94. When all the western countries turn back on Afghanistan after Soviet's defeat expect Germany. From that time on I have always huge respect for Germany.
