Nice video! I have a question, so I have a 2006 kx85 and I have been having this problem where I’ll warm my bike up and all that, I’ll pull the clutch in and kick it down into first and it will stall! So I have a few possible theories but I want to see what you think? There is a video on my channel of my bike running if you wanted to check that out! My theories are either, A.It’s winter so it just is cold? B.stretched clutch cable? C. Idle is to low? (Which I don’t think it is) Or something else? It idles and drives fine once I get moving! Clutch doesn’t slip, shifts smooth! So I’m not sure why it stalls with the clutch in putting it into first? Thanks Andrew
I have an older Kx 80 that also stalls when shifting into gear. I give it a little gas when going from neutral to first. There could probably be a bit of clutch drag and off idle the bike doesn’t have enough power to overcome it.
i just asked my friend with the same bike for a carb settings, turned it a little bit more rich and done, i think thats a good starting point
Nice! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...
I'm just going based on what I've tried from years of tuning different bikes :)
Which common mistake (#1-7) has made carb tuning confusing to you?
