- Thank you so much for watching! I hope you like the set-up and felt inspired by the process and my TBR. I would love to know if you have read any of the books on my TBR or want to and what you think!
My fiction reading preferences are clean regarding romance, language, and violence. Christian themes done right are great and when it comes to fantasy I only read non-magical.

About the book covers:
My February reading journal setup video walks you through how I create book covers but I just find them on google images, save to my computer, upload to Cricut design space to format them. Then with the Cricut design space tool I use the print then cut feature to connect to my printer to print on matte sticker paper and then load the sheet into my Cricut to cut the book covers.

Thank you! Yes! I need to start doing those. Some of my reading journal spreads take longer to make than others and I get worried about having those done before sharing my wrap ups but I’m trying to get over that. Hoping this month I can upload a first quarter of the year reading wrap up.

Have you found any good and clean books written by black authors and about black characters? I haven’t seen any in any of your videos, so I was wondering if you had a list of some or an idea of where I can search to find them on my own?
I have not found many. Toni Shiloh is a big name and the only one on my radar really. I own two of her books (she has many more). Her most recent release was actually in my June TBR video and I plan to read it before the month is over. She has books with black couples and books with interracial relationships. Her books have Christian themes though so not sure if you’re looking for that too. Olivia Matthews is another author on my radar, she writes cozy mysteries with black characters. I own one of her books. Honestly I search for most of my books on Amazon because that is where most independently published authors are selling their books, I search using the clean and wholesome tag and it might be useful to search for black authors in that category. I haven’t thought to do that before but that’s worth a shot to look that way! Hope that helps!

Thank you so much!!! Thank you for this question. I would say the biggest help in finding clean reads for me started with searching for and through clean reads or clean romance hashtag variations on Instagram, words like clean, sweet, and wholesome are used interchangeably. You’ll be able to see a ton of posts by various clean bookstagrammers and authors and publishers. And the more accounts you discover the more you’ll discover the clean reads and authors they love! Also Amazon does have a “wholesome” romance tag I think. So if you search wholesome romance on Amazon that should get you a ton of results. Now really discovering which authors are the most promising for you within the clean reads space takes time but you’re not alone and the clean reads community is a lot larger than it seems. Overall: Instagram is where I find most of my clean reads! Hope that helps!
