My Wife and I are planning to buy into the southern Maryland area. Prayerfully we’re 6 months away. We’ve been terrible with ups and downs. But our lease is due April 2023 so we’re going to try and save as much as we can and keep the credit card use to a minimum. 6 months or earlier and we’re expecting baby number 3 in 3 years, pray for us. It’s all on us now!
Thanks for watching! I do work with military veterans. With Fort Meade being so close to me, I have gotten a lot of practice over the years haha. Let me know if I can be of any assistance!
@@livinginmaryland7837 I will for sure. I know some of the videos i’m commenting on are a bit old, so maybe a new 2023 video for the Columbia Howard county area would help a lot. The market has changed since than or maybe you have a newer video and I just havnt watched it yet. Anyway, thanks for responding!
Moved here 3 years ago from Pittsburgh and the cost of living was a shock to me! We do love it here though, and are looking to buy even in this crazy market.
We're considering retiring to Maryland and are used to having separate lawyers involved for both the buyer and seller. Without an attorney representing me, how do I ensure I am legally protected in an MD RE transaction?
You always have the right to hire an attorney if that is something you want to do. Maryland title companies do have attorneys on staff that review all legal documents prior to closing and recordation. Other than that, my suggestion is to find a good realtor who knows our state contract so that you are protected. I know a guy if you are looking to interview people :)
There are some cool parts of Linthicum that she can check out. Howard County is also close by. Elkridge, Columbia and Hanover are all very close by as well. Let me know if I can help in any way :)
Thank you for the information. She’s wondering what’s the price ranges of townhomes in those suggested places? I will try to forward your information to her. Really appreciate your quick reply.
Dude your music is too loud in this video. Its hard for me to tune into your information.
Thanks for the video, Josh! Very informative as usual.
Glad to hear that. Thanks for watching!

Do you work with military veterans? Asking because some brokers say they do but do not know how to handle a vet purchase properly.

Don’t first time home buyers in Maryland have transfer tax completely waived?
I wish they did. But it's only the state transfer portion of transfer taxes which comes out to 0.25% of the purchase price
Nice video....are you a realtor?
Yes, I am :)
Appreciate this video sir
Thanks for watching!
So informative as usual, question, how diverse is Columbia Maryland?
Very much so :)
Very much! It was built on diversity. I’m from Columbia! :-)

What are the first time homebuyers grands/assistance available in Maryland?
My sister wanted to sell her townhome (Pax River) and buy another property close to BWI. What place can you suggest?

Can someone buy property in Maryland without living there.
Definitely. Someone could buy it as an investor or we have been doing virtual showings for people looking for a home to live in :)
Extraordinary long last name
Thanks! It's a pain to have to spell it out every time I'm asked, what's your name? haha
Take off the Music please.
