- I wanted a clubhouse for my kids for a while now and decided to make this simple design where its all based off a platform. This is not a step by step tutorial but supposed to give some inspiration to make your own. What I like about this design is that it is easily customizable. Let me know your thoughts below!

Karen Waugh To be honest I just eyeballed it. Amount of boards depends on size of the deck I believe I used 10 boards on each side.

Would like to do something like this for my son but want to know what I’m getting myself into, how long did this take and around how much did it cost for the wood?
Well this was 2 years ago. The wood prices were a lot cheaper. This took me about three days to build.

Did you use pressure treated wood?
On the bottom half. The dark wood is pressure treated.

It’s actually one I had before. I took it off an old swingset

It’s an idea video. It’s a pretty simple build.
Measure, cut, assemble. He obviously has the necessary tools and knowledge, but you can definitely learn from this. 🙂👍
